Storm is Great and I'm glad that they put respect on her name. I wish one of her ancestors would come back to remind her who she is or where she came from. They were once a Sorcerer Supreme and I'm surprised they didn't tap into that.

My interpretation of Storm's decision to not reset things is that she sees it as killing everything in the universe and wiping the memories/lifes of everyone in those first 100 years, but motive aside, she did made the right choice seeing that if the Moira clone dies, the only person to keep their memories is Sinister, which would try to do the same Sinister things again and again.

I’ve pondered the same thing. Storms power root is atomkinesis. Control of Atoms right? The building blocks of life. And has everyone forgot her secondary mutation of activating “mutants” powers during extinction agenda? It’s like she is literally a life bringer. A battery and a known atmospheric sculptress.

I feel the need to mention that including Living Monolith in the High Summers chimera isn't really all that random - as part of Living Monolith's origin, Apocalypse had Mister Sinister graft Havok's DNA into LM, giving him his powers. In fact, Havok and LM's power sets were linked in that they actually shared the "cosmic power pool" between them, and once Alex's powers manifested, LM started to lose his.

The question I’m asking, is how are all these manufacturer mutant. No falling apart with all their increased power. As it’s been shown in the comics. A Mutant has limits on. How much their bodies can handle their powers. Nate Gray had to get a genetic tattoo. Just to keep his powers from killing him. Apocalypse had to transfer is essence to a new host. Since must of his bodies would burn out. Also Wondering if his original body he lost. Might’ve been able to handle his increasing power.

That's actually the whole point and explains Sinister's genetics achievement and worth to the council. Remember too, it's a big deal that a combo of 3 could be done, much less the 4s. It is no easy feat to carry that amount of raw power without burnout, but Sinister cracked the code. Part of it has to do with the specific 4 bonded, so the powersets complement each other. Nate Grey was raw massive psychic power in a too limited body, but High Summers, for example, had the synchronized genetics of highly compatible Summers brothers plus the expandable mass of the Living Monolith. That's technically 3+ energy absorbing sets of genetics, in expanding storage, with an Omega level energy manipulator to keep it all stable. If anything should work, it's this kind of combination. As an aside, Monolith is extremely significant in the mix, tracing back his history with Havok, and the synchronicity of their powers.

This alternate reality is wild in how this versions of the main 616. But sadly I find the story lacking and after the first issue I last interest in it. I think largely how unimportant the event has been, I mean the Avengers, Spider-Man and even X titles are moving on like this isn't even happening. If the crossed it over into move of all the Marvel comics like say the Onslaught, Civil War or maybe 2021's Heroes Reborn events it would feel more important and not just another Earth with similar characters going through different stuff. Not a fan of having characters that have a normal aging live a 1000 years, and I see with them bring Storm back in the same issue they used that old cloning technique. I like Storm and all for showing her love but at times it feeling like they are over doing it.

I wonder who will remember all of this once it's been reset, also is there a chance Storm release the morias so they can have a better life in this terrible timeline. If so would that mean Moria will seek our storm so that she can remember? Also I feel like Moria bot will also turn agaisnt Sinister, seeing as this is all his fault. Though while I enjoyed this issue out of the rest one thing I hate about it is less screen time for Storm. Though I love all of the callbacks including her finally using her magical potentials, especially Storm putting Emma in her place. But I hate that they had to reduce her abilities P.s my worst prediction came true with Sinister reviving storm, which means storm will be under his control.

@@paris5746 yes Khora's powers were depleted but Ewing mentions that khoras powers matured over the years. it went beyond just boosting. Ororo mentioned that she was lacking experience... not power. Khora then gives most of her flame giving ororo the experience she was lacking and even possibly a portion of her soul. However even with that experience she still didn't have enough to protect herself from the radiation blast.

That’s a point I made earlier. Storm has power. The very universe is her power. But she should’ve had some natural resistance to radiation. She’s parted the ozone layer, created a star inside of herself and survived naked in outer space-In canon. If their are others alive 1,000 years later, Storms resurrection should’ve added her to that list to be in this run till the end. She should’ve just passed out like a newly Phoenix Jean after blowing up EmmaMold. With some minor bruising Is anyone realizing she was naked in space and alive.

Of course, Mercury, a queer mutant, was recently seen in a cameo of Legion of X but her arc was wrongly written under Si Spurrier in Way of X #3, but that problem was resolved in the X-Men: The Onslaught Revelation one-shot. Also, the men Emma perished earlier? Those were the clones of the mutant Dummy, I think he’s from the Morrison run.

Did Emma actually died in the main proper timeline in the Krakoan era... I mean she presumably died in Judgment Day but then the Progenitor rewind time before the Eternals attack the mutants, then next time we saw her died is when Immortal X-Men Kitty Pryde when she died multiple times but it was rewind evey failed attempt of Sinister and then the Immortal X-Men Prof. X she died and then resurrected but has a sinister DNA but we all know that won't last long until they kill another Moira Clone.... So technically she hasn't died once like Storm, or am I wrong?

Not gonna lie this book was kind of the weakest to me but It was still solid. It had a lot of meat and potatoes but ehhh iono it just was something missing. I think i'm already looking ahead to nightcrawlers 3 and the ghost rider galactus lmao

I think it's hard to really dig into this book when it ultimately is 3 widely spaced issues of something that will be erased. It's not like the Age of Apocalypse that had months to breathe, and the 1000-year span takes away the feeling of progression connectivity - despite having awesome moments for a few characters. Compared to the other titles where we know Sinister takes back knowledge; Destiny lived possibilities she's seeing anyway, maybe Wagnerine and Rasputin IV will make it/be made in present day; for sure, Mother Righteous will keep scheming with faith; Moira-tron gonna menace; etc. it's easy to feel like this book was just the vehicle for guarding the reset-Moira for a millennium while Storm showcased feats of greater power.

Yea i felt the same .I was expecting like an epic or dark theme similar to one of the issues of x lives and deaths of Wolverine where Nimrod attacks Krakoa and where Forge made a bean that can transport Wolverine to the past right before Krakoa to fall ,or a brief previews of Moira's lives whre sentinels destroy everything .I liked how Emma was sitting on her throne and taking baths 🙃 but that gundam/mothermold part wasn't my thing .Kinda expected a more grand fight between Emma and Storm like a queen/goddesses fight showdown at that point .

Storm is powerful, but she is not the most powerful mutant ever. We have seen more powerful mutants than her. Plus, despite being Omega level, Storm still has limits to her powers. Plus in the last 2 issues, her powers were enhanced by Kora. its nice to see Storm getting some of the spotlight in this Sins of Sinister storyline. Emma has been playing Game of Thrones since birth, so combined with Sinister, she would definitely thrive in such a twisted universe.

​@rjhemedes the definitions have varied over the years, but an Omega Level Mutant can have limits, it's just that those limits either aren't fixed, aren't based in simple measurable science, or are set by the fact no other humanoid (mutant or other post-human) matches or surpasses them in that area. Storm, for example, can cause world wide weather phenomena but needed a boost to pull off the feat she did in the world farm. That implies a limit pertaining to stellar weather condition manipulation, even if the limit is for the wielder's own safety. It's not always that they can't go higher, rather, they maybe shouldn't use those massive powers built for A and B to do C because of the consequences. Omega used to be defined as being able to affect a planet's range dramatically (like world-wide hurricane effects; Iceman's world spanning blizzard; Xavier's world spanning mind freeze/sleep; Magneto's worldwide magnetosphere alteration); but range wasn't all there could be to it when some powers aren't about distance. Beyond Omega Level meant it significantly surpassed that planet spanning range (e.g., reality warping of an entire universe) but with Omega now being that kind of rare, unmatched, hard to quantify, uncommon ability (several world spanning telepaths but 1 may be unparalleled in a specific area of telepathy the others are not, while another is unparalleled at something the first isn't able to achieve to that level, both may be considered omega level because they dwarf their peers). I'm not sure the definition will stick, but they tried to make it less abstract, and not doled out to any and everyone that can reach a certain power output if 10 others also can, unless there was a unique aspect to it (burn a planet with lightning when another can burn it with fire).

The current Storm isn't exactly casting spells left and right like Dr. Strange and Scarlet Witch are doing. Alternate future timeline versions of characters are not Marvel Cannon.

bruh, storm is not the most powerful mutant. the reality-warpers, telekinetics, extreme speedsters, remote teleporters, and chronokinetics can easily kill her (unless the writers give her plot armor). it was still nice to see her tear electrons from molecules, tho, but it's a shame khora had to boost storm for her to do it.

@@thispersonrighthere9024 I mean, Storm can literally boost her mutant powers with her magic, so I don't see why you're excluding that from her potential. Storm has already started using magic in the Scarlet Witch series, so the reset isn't going to change that. A mutant that can basically control the forces that bind matter together is undoubtably in the top tier power levels. It's not about who can win in a fight, but who can achieve the greatest level of power. Storm has access to three huge power trees in their highest forms(Omega Mutant, Godhead, and Sorcerer Supreme lvl magic). She's well beyond the standard omega level mutant and would be a huge threat to any mutant.
