@@Subject_Keter I don't know, she has shown to be more than smart enough. She has shown to be smarter than Shaw, and she is more than smarter than Kitty and Nightcrawler. As for what she did, well she gave far better reasons for her to be on the Council than Hope did. But where Hope gave them an empty ultimatum, and the Council with their empty promises Selene showed that she can and will back up her promises. That and Selene was more aiming for Apocalypse's seat that's still empty, which they should have given her, and Magneto's seat to Hope 🤷‍♂

**Wanda Maximoff actually resurrected herself** Also, I believe Selene put off the biggest illusion spell that could be addressed in issue #2, possibly revealing how she managed to change the whole perspective of what we saw after the spell, after Hope’s arrival. She could probably get a hold of anyone affected she can sense through her magic. Everything could reverse, leading to the switcheroo of who’s actually going to be in Mag’s seat. Also, very importantly, the origin of Mr. Sinister’s signature red eyeballs came to life through Irene’s whispering of the many futures mutantkind will face.

This would suggest that Moira , and the timeline has been manipulated several times in a row already . It's just this version of Sinister just came across his own plan from another timeline sending a message to himself through Moira's memories. This would also explain why Moira did genetics similar to Sinister's work as this would merely expand upon his own research like an extension of his knowledge base implanted based upon things he likes.

They better explain how Gorgon came back seemingly normal. Him dying in Otherworld meant his backup was corrupted, meaning the Five couldn't bring him back as he was, and in the data pages the amalgam of him that was resurrected was said to be struggling. They implied Saturnyne could help fix the issue of death in Otherworld messing with the backups, but last we heard she was uncooperative, and blasted the external portal close from her side.

Most of sinister's "secrets" are already known to those who have been reading krakoan Era x-men for a while. But the question is how does sinister himself know these things? Through his clone Moiras? Has he really reset the timeline 25 times? All those reboots might do some major damage to the time-line.

I love sinister ive loved him since i was about 5 years old, in all his glamrock dracula glory. I think hes going in the pit for cloning moira but i think it will he fine if the hellions are there with him and a dumb mistake because putting him in a place where you think you dont need to watch him anymore is the worst possible mistake charles could make. Ive loved this whole era of xmen its dream come true except why are they going so hard to character assassinate beast? My only guess is hes dark beast somehow and being puppeteered by somebody like sinister? Like he was pretty bad during the time displaced teen xmen arc but so many characters have seen such growth and redemption lately why not beast hes just getting more and more insidious

And the quiet council still gave it to Hope..., who offered nothing but blackmail, sure she's a member of the five, she has a lot of jobs to do, so why the hell robs the seat from Selene? Wasn't Krakoa about giving all mutants a second chance? They still give the place to Hope... classic good guy stunt

I'm just gonna say this here: Mr. Sinister saved the 616 timeline from being annihilated by keeping extra copies of Moira. The comatose state, the "Shiar Golem", faking her own death and remaining hidden are all related to Moira's annihilation ability. The timeline '"resets"' only if there's no other Moira alive. I still believe Moira 6's knowledge hasn't returned to present 616 yet

The funny thing is without Sinister being who he is Destiny wouldn't be here. Overall the whole schism is based on her own action towards Moira lives ago. I am glad they're giving Selene some damn shine the problem is how it took this long she could have been important on a few different fronts because it seems like Marvel wants people to forget about Nercosha where she did what's going on now by herself. Also thinking about it seriously Sabretooth SHOULD be there too he's one of those long lived mutants even if people can go can talk Nepotism. That Sinister, Mystique, Sabretooth, Destiny all have history. The problem is they never really gave Sabretooth a chance especially now since they've killed some people through this whole run. Having him in the hole off of him taking out a black op squad is pretty petty when we know what we know. Which is something that Xavier knows due to everything being back up with him. Hope personally already shown she doesn't need to be there because to simply hint she might start a rebellion makes her no better than Selene making the gate go "poof". If Destiny knows what's comes to past it's easy for her to edit her own events in real time. It's like when people see a Deja Vu and then don't do what they saw themselves do. What would have been sensable would have Hope take Magneto's spot and still give Selene, Apocalypse's spot even if she doesn't want it per say. They should have brought them both back in and talked about less Bone Kaiju breathing hellfire. Finally Sinister's plan is stupid yet that's why it works for him.

Xavier is the main villain because he knows everything that has happened because all the memories are backed up with him. Plus he's still sitting on Onslaught which could easily solve the problem. Also that's another thing you wonder why they're not being more efficient when it comes to Orchis? It's him he knows Nimrod was made because of Mystique's actions. He knows that Wolverine, Domino and Kid Omega died of there dozen of times and their memory of those assaults were erased. He also's controling Jean's power when it comes to Phoenix a lot better since he knows he can't let her do Dark. He also knows what Sinister's doing if his whole goal is keep Moira "alive" this whole plot is brilliant on his end. Prof X been placating people this whole time

Emma in one of the Powers of X issues(can't remember the number but likely #3 or 4) said she expected the council to be temporary and a new government system to be made , in a way revealing that she didn't want to share power with any but perhaps the triarchy of herself ,Xavier and Magneto and now post Magneto quitting you can bet Emma will try to get rid of any power rivals to be the sole leader, but I hope this narcissist fails

Namor wanted to work with Banner to "reset the world". Also he kinda sees through them all as half-steppers. Hulk has the power to solve the problem. They depowered Cable and honestly put him in the same place as Selene with all honesty somebody WAY too powerful to not be involved in major events. Even Bishop deserves a slot over the former lovers since people forget what he did too. At this point I even say Sabretooth deserves a spot because if the writer isn't making him a rabid mess he's just as long lived and smart as a few members of the council.

I was so glad that they got rid of Moira's powers, but now this... I really hope someone uses that depower gun on them and destroys the whole thing. Apocalypse knows about magic, his not a magic user, the spell he used was Candra's spell but on a larger scale. Which we saw him studying through the Excalibur run. The Gate was create as Selene said by murdering 4 Externals, that fact that Apocalypse and Rictor were never punished is huge. I hope with Selene messing with the Gate will end with the 4 Externals return, and the fact that their essence/souls were (maybe?) being used to power the Gate will be revealed to all of Krakoa. What's not to like about her power. She doesn't abuse her reset and make the story bad. Giving her a cap of 10 or 11 lives and the story starting on the tenth prevents a abuse and makes the story great.

I doubt he has all the powers, he can only get powers of a)existing mutants b) resurrected Genoshans and other mutants and c) newly born ,i.e mutant power manifesting powers.He cannot get all those by undoing history every time coz of the butterfly effect but this is comics so could he be the new Richard Parance ...he may be if the writers want him to be that type of villain

TIME TRAVEL HAS NEVER WORKED LIKE THIS. Have NONE of these idiots read anything about the branching timeline theory? the one that Reed richards proved is the rule decades ago? Moira reincarnating does NOT erase the previous reality..it just creates a new branch. her ousting and all this is SO much bullshite. but NOOOOOO..they had to have some idiotic reason for all the mutants to turn on Moira and for her to go sentinel. *sigh* Hopefully by the end of Avengers vs Xmen vs Eternals, we'll find out that this is ALL some sort of Celestial manipulation(they created mutants...it's another long established fact that everyone keeps ignoring...which combined with past examples of Celestial Mind control, is probably just how the Celestials want it), they'll reboot the continuity again(which won't erase this dumpster fire of a reality, we just won't be following it anymore) and it can ALL be swept under the rug.
