The suit is nanotech. Dust means nanobots. Sunstone is Kryptonian equivalent of vibranium. He has most of the usual powers we expect, or some form of them, but needs the suit to recharge efficiently and can’t recharge as fast as extreme exertion depletes his energy levels.

I think you’re on the right track with Brainiac being a version of Lex. But I think, considering the themes of this absolute Superman run so far I think they’re going to play it straight and just have Lex be the face of this AI brainiac that runs Lazarus as an allegory for corporations and how they are incentivized to use things like algorithms to best predict the masses Movements, whether financially or otherwise and keep” them in a proverbial “bottled city. There’s definitely other things at play for sure but that’s just my guess.

DC comics has given the ammunition for the nerds who want to say that Superman won’t be characters like the silver surfer. Or any Harold of Galactus, since they all have the same power. They would suck out all of his “solar energy“ in an instant .

I think Kal's suit actually is serving as a battery but the drain to serve in that function maybe eclipsed by the need to protect him/everyone from his recently acquired powers. I think the suit maybe dampening his powers because Kal-El doesnt fully know what he can do right noe.

Thanks for touching on the difference between ACTUAL AI and generative AI. Generative AI is just your old school Yahoo Chatbot, just suped-up primarily by the increased data speeds and storage capacities recent innovations have brought. It doesn't think, its just a slightly more advanced algorithm. If ANYTHING I'm annoyed that we're essentially destroying the world and it's NOT an actual AI! This isn't some Matrix or Skynet situation, just bad math and finance bros...
