After playing every single day since the release I can say that it is a very enjoyable game. Obviously it has issues like the terrible RNG of the enhancing system, but what game doesn’t have problems. The pros definitely outweigh the cons tho. I highly recommend this game to those willing to put in the time. It is a grind, but most definitely worth it. I have only played the Berserker class and I very much enjoy it’s combat. Tomorrow they are fixing and adding a huge amount of content! Come join our community!

For me it’s way better than the beta. It looks and runs way better. Combat feels faster and smoother. Moving around the world doesn’t feel as slow. I’m enjoying it way more than I thought I would.

I write a script in parts to help me articulate my thoughts. I typically play a game as much as I can within a week or so (Full time job doesn’t let me play as much as I want) and then I do the video. Editing a video depending on the length can take anywhere from 6-8 hours or so per video and it’s all just me, no help. Some you tubers have editors to help them but not me!

I played this game at Launch with my friends and girlfriend for close to a month. Was very frustrating, combat was really clunky so being a magic and not really having AOE was stupid. You hit this leveling wall at around 16-18 which ultimately led to us quitting. The scaled leveling very low to stretch content. A lot of the elite players were toxic if you mentioned this telling you to go play another game. Eventually devs made a small exp boost but the damage was done. If you look at many other MMORPG, if you get tired of the level grind you can go do crafting, housing all types stuff to relax in the game. This game is just killing mobs and quest, which neither of it was fun.

I bought an Xbox to play this game. At first it felt a bit weird, slow and some of the textures in the starting area were really bad. But I kept playing fortunately and now I am having the best time. As soon as you hit lvl 10 and you reach the Navarra area the game is just stunningly beautiful without any lousy textures. The soundtrack is simply amazing and helps you to get immersed. I definitely recommend this game, especially since it will be free to play. If you have an Xbox, give it a try!

I'm currently downloading it, I found out about it from the game pass ultimate perks and it seems pretty interesting, the fact that it's less pay to win like eso and also a lot smaller, meaning easier for me to actually download, means Imma definitely play it for a bit and see how it feels Tho I really do hope these things you mentioned are fixed. Also really hope that they add buffs to each race and such, maybe more classes and maybe even make it so races can be in multiple classes, e.g a varg mage or a human beserker

I like it so far. I’ve put over 100 hours into it. Since I’m a completionist too I haven’t got the estate. I might have IF the gear score wasn’t a pain. I think it’s a little grindy for that and a little grindy to level your equipment making posts. I’ve had to rely on making a lot of (for example) Thick Lumber to level the shaping and enchanting. I agree the combat is a bit clunky and dodge is a pain. So you really have to plan a bit and get down the enemy’s attack animation move where you need to and plan your dodge around that (actually having to plan is a plus in this game, instead of tanking every attack and just beating a monster to death). Having enough stamina for just one dodge animation is also a little annoying. I play as a mage so having a back up like blink is nice. I think the combo should have more variety. So instead of pounding the same two - three combos (one that launches an ice ball for knock back, long arcane combo to shit out damage, and the fire one if you can remember it’s there for a little bit of burning damage). You should be able to chose between them for various other combos with in them. Also the should do specific afflictions, i.e. ice to freeze for a second, lightning to stun, fire for burning, maybe arcane for knock back or something else arcaney. I know you can do those with skills (once you level them), but it should be part of combos too. Also! I should be able to swap between what ever blessing I like without worrying that one of the blessings I got earlier in game does less damage that blessings in later game. Especially when I’m stuck with first 3 blessings and Lionheart Legacy doesn’t particularly fit my gameplay. I do like how the passives (from unlocking all bonuses) will apply from different blessings even if you’re not using them at that moment. It gives a feel of accomplishment for actually finishing to level blessings without having a bunch of half assed leveled blessings. Other than all that, I do like this game and I hope they fix the clunkiness.

The lack of quest sharing and the leveling wall is super frustrating for me. As soon as you hit 17 you’ll hit a massive wall and have to mostly grind trash mobs until you are 20. But the quest sharing is for sure my biggest gripe.

on combat the games animations have physics for size and strength for char vs armor your carried weight etc. ie if your heavy you move and swing slower etc. I know some people don’t like the no i frames and forced animations but it makes it more realistic ( I’m an sca armored combatant guy that is I dress in real plate and beat the fuck out of other people with real weapons) so I know what I’m talking about. Personally I like this feature as it requires actual timing and skill and knowledge of enemies rather then mash “ I frame”. Each class requires you learn the timing and doges. They are not unresponsive, in rl you can’t dodge in the middle of a swing. You can’t in this game either so you need to think about how and when you attack and what combos you use vs what enemies and their attacks etc. This is realistic and immersive.

Realistic and immersive until you realize you do have I frames and you CAN cancel animations just not very often. Also that really only applies to the heavy armor characters. Mages still felt pretty slow, priests and archers. I just like faster combat is all, the difficulty needs to stay just a bit smoother would be nice in my opinion. Not sure whether the game has changed a lot since this video but just took part in the beta stress test for the PC version and it performed amazingly well, especially given it was during a stress test.. Combat does take some getting used to if you've played more standard skill based mmos but I found it really enjoyable and very rarely saw any of issues described in this video. I'd say the combat system still needs a small amount of tweaking but it does feel a lot like how Tera's combat should have been. Sadly they still have the class/race restrictions but the amount of character customisation they had blew me away. Despite only playing a small amount the story did feel like it had a lot of depth and did give of a slight FFXIV vibe. If you're a fan of FFXIV, Lotro or Tera then I'd highly recommend giving this a try. There are still things to fix but it really feels like they're trying to improve and for a pre-release stress test (I know the game is already out on consoles) I was highly impressed.

Honestly, thank you for giving a genuine review on this. As someone who spent over 2k hours into BDO, and a ridiculous amount of time on ESO? I genuinely enjoy this game along with it's pretty easy enhancement system. This game, in short, has so much potential! So many people are just hellbent on giving it a negative review before trying it due to Bless online which is actually vastly different in various ways and had loads of stuff Bless Unleashed does not have. Whatever your feels on Bless online? Bless Unleashed does, very much do it justice. Also, it's F2P so no one has to pay for it. One thing I do want to address is your slight belittling of the combat system. Personally, as somebody who spends over 60 hours now in Bless Unleashed on PS4? I don't feel it's that clunky in comparison to most MMOs that are out there (Aside from BDO of course which is a whole flaming shit pile of lag/FPS mess) especially when you consider games like World of Warcraft, ESO, Rift, ect. Considering the player base ESO had with their laughable combat system? I'd say bless if people stop being biased? Might actually take over consoles if done right and has enough formidable/ joyful content to experience. For sure, it needs some tinkering especially with rendering but I think a lot of issues might actually get fixed come PS5 and the new Xbox release. Having said that? This still isn't the mess that BDO is on consoles, especially with it's ungodly horrific and punishing enhancement system that almost forces you into a corner to swipe a card to progress.

I just don’t like the clunky slow combat, ironically in its beta phases they had to speed it up because they got feedback that it was slow so it used to be worst than what it is now. I think if they put effort into fixing it’s performance issues, getting the game to a better state, release new classes and content, the game will be a pretty good contender. And while the game is free sure it’s still important to get criticism, otherwise they will never improve the game! Either way I do hope it at least finds its place in the genre.

Oof! I don't know if I could handle it any slower. Though, coming from BDO, I wouldn't mind it being a bit faster as well and I think it might add a bit more fun to the PvP especially if we're given an extra roll. Overall, it's been a pretty great contender to other games on console that are free, especially some of the current MMO titles out that are even P2P. BDO personally has so many lag, rendering and frame rate issues that it's almost impossible to enjoy it at times. ESO, well, I'm not even touching ESO's forsaken yet opinionated combat system. I'll just leave it at is has it's ups and downs. Blessed however just feels a bit more WoW like especially in battlegrounds than other games I've played as of late. Maybe I'm seeing more to this game due to pure nostalgia of classic times in Vanilla minus all of the content of course since WoW itself is on a whole different playing field of MMO. PvE is also immensely fun with various different creature types and loads of bosses. Having said all this, I whole heartedly agree it should feel a bit smoother because I still can't shake that slight "Clunk" I feel every time I move, swing or use an ability. So far I've just been able to overlook it due to other great things the game has had to offer me. As far as falling prey to criticism? Absolutely! I have so many ideas for this game that could both improve and give more life to both aspects PvE and PvP it's not even funny. Mounted combat for instance would be fabulous despite how much work it would take to implement. More classes are most certainly going to be needed. Thanks for the informative video. I'm currently playing ESO on PS4. And Blessed Unleashed closed beta was last weekend for PS4. I missed it cause I didn't check my emails 😓. Don't know if you've played ESO, but if you have would this game coming to PS4, would it be a game worth playing or should I stick with ESO? Also I hear that pk player come into low lvl zones just to kill lowbies just so they can't complete their quest and because they're are good enough to PvP players at their own level, is this still a thing?. As far as I know PvP isn’t forced unless ur in certain areas. ESO is much better designed game but Bless Unleashed is free to no harm in trying it when it releases!

Every mmorpg will eventually have you pay something, most commonly a subscription fee. Bless is kinda similar or you have a huge grind ahead of you. Nothing is ever COMPLETELY free. Can’t expect everything free because then the game would never make money lol.

You can’t get good shit to make you strong as other players unless you buy the DLCs with the dungeon add ons. I literally cant be strong because the vanilla game has a limit. I've recently added Bless to my library and I've played a small bit. It seems okay. I'm playing an Elven Ranger, and I am unsure if I can play with people. My internet is horrendous. Is there any solo stuff I could do if I cannot have people? An example is on the Destiny game if I go to the Tower I am the only player there, and I cannot do multiplayer. I have to solo strikes and all.

I like this game, the combat is slow as fuck for melee but mages and archers are okay, this game requires patience and farming on both levels and professions, you won't earn any star seed without grabbing as much ore/materials as possible.

Yet another MMO for consoles with terrible QOL And optimization. Sure it plays better on the Pro or X, but you shouldn’t need the most expensive option to barely run a game. It’s the devs responsibility to properly optimize these titles before their release, in order to justify cash shops and all these founder packs and other bs they expect us to purchase. I have ZERO problems purchasing a game outright, or purchasing a founder, or purchasing from cash shops for cosmetics and passes or DLC. But I have a HUGE problem with them expecting me to do the same when their game is laggy, low FPS, and still feels like a beta at best.....upon release. What’s more, the new generation of consoles is coming, which are more powerful than the Pro and X, but how much you wanna bet they’ll still release unoptimized titles like this with founder packs and cash shops. Priorities for game developing now is just backwards.

Give it a chance I put it down after day one. Went back couple days later. Haven't out it down since combat gets better the more combos you learn and you get used to it. It keeps you very busy and has alot coming in the pipeline

Some points of the video hasn’t aged well such as the fact their attempt to water down traditional class systems simply removed tanks and increased the importance of dps and healers. The higher level bosses always require a healer still and worst almost all require dps checks to avoid massive damage meaning every class is FORCED to focus on attack over defense in the end game. Think about it...what’s the point of doing a defensive build if you can’t draw any aggro to you? Also every boss fight is always chaotic because there is no defensive power house capable of keeping aggro much causing the boss to always run amok. I strongly disagree with you on that point. As a crusader with a defensive build now I rather feel completely useless in boss fights and more so just a selfish jerk who doesn’t put out much dps to help kill it or break through dps checks but hey at least I’m living while the others die right? The fact it’s all about dps with bosses creates a huge issue with the game. I still think crusaders deserve a taunt ability replacing one of their others. And if their goal is to make it so other classes can be like others too then add taunts to the others as well. I think the crusader will always be the best tank just due to guard alone but you could argue berserkers should also get taunt as a semi tank on occasions since all their attacking self heals helps them live longer potentially going all out than the other classes. Anyway if you ever notice high level dungeons there are always people demanding two things ALWAYS: “Need a good priest” and “Need ‘x’ number of dps for Lich, etc! Pm me!” No one wants a defensive build.

Xbox is being published by Bandai Namco while the Bless Unleashed PC will be published by Neowiz. so maybe no crossplay. :( but the idea of having it launched in different platforms makes me excited for the game itself. I'm pretty excited to play this when it finally releases the free to play version. I played the beta and it was fun. I have to say that since upgrading to Xbox One X, the game definitely runs way better than trying to play on a standard Xbox. I hope this game remains a Microsoft exclusive as I don't see why it should be ported to Playstation, at least for a few years. If you can't wait that long, go buy an Xbox and play it on the system it was designed to be played on. How many Playstation exclusives ever get released on Xbox? - very few if any and usually only after a good few years being on Playstation.
