One of the funniest songs ever put out. And it's a three word song to boot! Redford, oozing, Fargo, Carrey, Pavorotti, Crawford, etc. Mention any three and people are bound to know the song real well. Maybe not the exact title.

this song is great. but someone cant keep tempo. the song started at a great speed then slowed down when drums came in, then in the bridge it felt like it got slower.
@TheAcenightcreeper3 жыл бұрын
No, you are correct, the drummer is dragging and going in and out of time, and its throwing off the guitarist. Guitatrist is then keeping time from the bass…

it's too slow, everybody is out of tune with each other, the drums sound like a garbage can, and the recording in general is terrible. this super thin live recording sound is just a product of the era.

Wtf. The singer I s black???
@CugnoBrasso12 жыл бұрын
Great song but the sound that guitar is making just got my ears bleeding... What's more the guitarist makes a major chord in the refrain which should be minor... Not trying to be fastidious, the video is awesome and that singer is as good in concerts as he is in the records, but there's simply nothing I like in that guitar.
@jiffey_faux Жыл бұрын
Haha, 11 years later.... Agree 100%. Is that the original guitarist?? He plays the major voicing over and over and over again... Maybe the producer redid the guitar part after they wrapped the recording and he never realized he's been playing in the entirely wrong key. 😂
@CugnoBrasso Жыл бұрын
@@jiffey_faux Haha thank you for replying to this comment! Man, I was harsh, I've become much more lenient over the years!
@jiffey_faux Жыл бұрын
@@CugnoBrasso Very fair! In 11 years, maybe someone will reply to my comment and I'll think similarly. Those were definitely major chords, though :)

@ E Drew Are you freaking serious? "a poor man's Darius Rucker?" WHAT THE HELL is wrong with you? His voice and style is NOTHING AT ALL like Rucker's. My god, the only thing they have in common is that they are/were both black frontmen for rock groups and both are now bald. Musically they are NOTHING alike. Nothing at all. Ya racist.
