Thank you! I could not have assembled my scooter without your easy instructions. 😊

You’re welcome. I’m all done with mine. On my way back to normal….. somewhat 😂. Less pain and a little less mobility. I’m figuring about 1 year total and I’m 7 months in. Thanks for watching and hope it works well for you too.😂👍

@@BoilerDan1 I have surgery tomorrow so I’m just getting started on this journey. Happy to have the scooter assembled because I got so much done today to ready myself for surgery. God bless you with continued, permanent healing!

@dmariebouie I am saying a little prayer for you too!🙏🏻👍

You saved my day. I was definitely lost. When you flipped the wheels back, my jaw dropped. I had clearly looked over a necessary bit of information.

Happy to have helped! I’m finished using the scooter. It worked great. I’m in a boot now and walking. Hope to be back to normal in a couple of weeks 👍👍

You’re welcome. I’m done using mine and am tracking though Disney World…. Much better after my surgery but don’t expect to be 100 % for up to a year….. The scooter really helped getting around after the surgery. Thanks for commenting 👍👍

Thank you so much! Before your video I had the washers on the outside of the wheels with screws and it wasn’t moving smoothly, plus squeaking! So looking for a video to stop squeaky noises, I found you putting washers on inside and voila!

You’re very welcome. I hope that your needs for the scooter will be successful. I’m well into the recovery process from my foot surgery. Definitely a lengthy process. The scooter worked out well for me.

The front axel plate keeps dropping off. I put it back on, it is tight and then after a bit of use, the bottom plate disconnects and drops off. Any tips?
@BoilerDan1Ай бұрын
@julieaulava9567 If I understand correctly, it’s the part that has a lever that clicks into place holding the front axle in place. There’s a part in the video (at the 8:30 mark) that shows the clamp. Make sure that the washer is in the right place. Also, loosen the clamp, then tighten the bolt more. That should make the clamp harder to close. The more you tighten the bolt, the tighter and harder that clamp will be to close. Hope that helps. Watch that part of the video closely and I think you can fix it 👍

Thank you so much for the video! I’m stuck putting the front axle together. The instructions mention a front wheel tie rod and it looks like it is the brake cable. My cable is pretty short. Am I missing something? 😬
@BoilerDan129 күн бұрын
What they refer to as a front wheel tie rod” is actually just a threaded rod. I show it in my video about 8 minutes and 50 seconds into the video. I suggest that you watch starting at about the 8:20 minute mark through the assembly. I think you’ll figure it out 😁👍. The threaded rod is shown in the manual directly above the STEP 4 print on page 5. If you’re still unsure contact me via email at boilerdanone@gmail.com and I can send photo of the manual.

Best wishes for your recovery. I’m mostly done with recovery, used the knee scooter for about a month, then a boot for another month. Now I’m walking again but at times it has a little aching but not bad. I’m guessing 6 months to fully recover? I think you’ll like yours!

WHAT! Your kindness is so much appreciated. What began as a way to keep myself busy in my retirement years has more than that. I’ve gained that satisfaction of doing something good and being rewarded for it. Your gift is so much more valuable than monetary. Bless you.🥳

How can i find an assembly manual, cant figure out how to adjust the handle bars?
@BoilerDan14 ай бұрын
You can email me at boilerdanone@gmail.com and I’ll send you a copy of my manual. (I request a Super Thanks contribution that you can access below my KZbin video and to the right that’s a heart and the word “ Thanks”.) OR You can try to reach the company at: FashanFuoudo Trading Co.Ltd Hu Vi., Danzao Town. Nanhai Dist. Fashan Guangdong China OR: There’s a black plastic knob on the backside of the vertical tube holding the handlebar. Unscrew it and remove it. Then you can adjust the handlebar up and down as there’s a series of pre -threaded holes that you then reattach the black knob into the height you want. There’s also a clip on the front that when pulled will allow you to fold the handle downward. NOTE: it’s a very tight clip and it took me using two hands to pull it open. Hope that helps?

What happen to your boat motor Dan?

Due to my age and no ponds/lakes nearby….. my family convinced me that I shouldn’t be going out on river…. Especially because it has submerged trees…. Long story short: I sold the entire set up. Made a young man very happy!👍

Any idea why the rear wheels on mine are squeaking?
@BoilerDan1Ай бұрын
No? Maybe get some spray lubricant and spray the axle area. could the brake be too tight, and rubbing?
@noelsquier4125Ай бұрын
Ok, thank you, I will try that.

How to pull down the latch for folding the knee walker? It’s almost impossible for me😅 to
@BoilerDan18 күн бұрын
Yes, it’s very tight …… Fortunately my wife was able to load it in the back of our vehicle without having to fold it down.👍👍

@@BoilerDan1I see - unfortunately my car isn’t that large😢 was there any tips you found helpful to pull it down?
@BoilerDan17 күн бұрын
Unfortunately it can’t be adjusted, however you could take a piece of dowel rod (wood) and use it to pry open the lever each time. Maybe sand the end to a wedge shape to fit it in better. I think in time it will get easier as you use it. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I think it must be tight so it doesn’t come apart when you’re using it 🫨👍👍

I wasn’t able to find anything. You can get some parts from Amazon by searching for knee scooter parts. But I don’t know regarding fitting your unit. Sorry

Highest complaint so far was putting the bag on and causing my coffe to spill
@BoilerDan14 ай бұрын
I ended up not using the bag thing at all. Maybe to roll out to the mailbox but that was just once…. But mine did roll nicely through my recovery.👍 Thanks for watching, and sharing your experience. Maybe it’ll save someone else from spilling their coffee.👍👍
