I just bought an iwalk FREE 3.0 from Amazon for $159 with free shipping, not sure where you get $300. I put it together today and was immediately walking around and vacuumed my entire downstairs. It works great. I am an active 66 year old younger person

I'm 65 . The IWalk was a lifesaver. I'm in a knee brace for 12 weeks . Learning curve was about 30 seconds. Agree that you need to fit it properly. The sole is Vibram which is pretty slip proof. It is slower than walking at present, BUT this is week 1. I aim to be jogging in a month with it 🙂.

I have had a complete ankle replacement, and 2 tendon surgeries in 1 year. I have crutches, knee roller 2canes,and now the iWALK FREE 3.0. The crutches totally suck. Especially after having rotator cuff surgery a couple of years ago. Knee roller is good for grocery shopping etc. The iWalk is good for around the neighborhood.

I am delighted that someone gifted me the I walk. Crutches hard on stairs or in small spaces like my house. I am redoing foot surgery and used knee scooter last year as a teacher. Small bumps on surface make it hard to go forward, lots of work on other leg and especially the other knee. Got mine assembled and ready to train with it soon, recovering from hernia surgery and am nearly 69.

I just assembled and fitted an iWalk 3.0 and I'm getting ready to try it. I'm being very cautious as I am 67YO with broken ankle, 2 wks post surgery, not yet allowed to put any weight on it. My biggest problem is stairs: without iWalk, I'm only doing stairs on my butt, then I have trouble standing up at the top. Hoping the iWalk is better - no stairs indoors but at all entrances to my home. I have a Knee Rover also, it works great indoors but it's too heavy and doesn't do stairs at all. For stairs, I get out my crutches - arrrrgh!

Hip replacement: As a Senior, I love ❤ my 3-wheel rollater to support and ease pain in my back that has Scoliosis. I can walk easier to doctor appointments, movies, help with balance around the house and lightweight. It folds easy to place in my small sedan car. (I cannot put the 4-wheel Rollater with a seat, into my car and it is much heavier).

My wife has broken her foot, today we have crutches from the Hospital that she is too thin and weak and old to use. We took an Ottoman that has wheels She sits on it and can use her good leg to push or pull along except carpet I have to push her thru the carpeted areas and lift the wheels up over the various thresholds we have. We saw the I Walk and i thought it was perfect but her arm strength is bad and balance is worse. We looked for roller stools but only found them in Hair Dresser supplies and they were not exactly safe or effective. She does not see the walker as protecting her foot enough, But maybe after surgery it could work. I thought the knee Scooter would work well. We are close to order one. Then you show the Rollator??? Can she sit on the rollator or get up and walk if she wants. I saw some folks sitting on the Knee Scooter but can we add a peg up front to rest the foot. The rollator with larger wheels might be best for home and shopping if we can get the bad leg some place to rest. I am a retired Engineer and can fabricate stuff. A 3D Printed pad could made to clamp on to the front frame member. I think. Sounds like she wants to try the Knee Walker for the 1str floor and a wheels stool for the 2nd floor. We are pricing the Chair Lift to go between the floors. So far she simply sits on a step and used her arms and good leg to scoot up a step at a time at night then about 11 AM she scoots to come down for the day. So we think the Wheel Chair for going out, knee Scooter on the fist floor, Wheels Stool on the 2nd Floor and Chait lift to go up and down stairs. She is looking a 3 to 6 months recovery and still has weak knees so all these tools may be useful full time after she is healed. Dennis & Margaret

Good subject doctor. When I was in rehab. I was given a walker for physical therapy. I was doing good but after 100 days when I came out and tried to use the walker on the sidewalks of NYC. I nearly fell a few times. The problem is when you use the walker in a perfect setting no problem but when using it outside with the broken sidewalks, twigs , tree branches etc. it’s a different story. So just want your followers to to be aware of this. Proceed with caution.

I used iWalk. It took a few days to really get comfortable with it, but I liked it enough to keep it. I’ll be using it again. I you have to be careful on slanted ground. I’m 46 and very active. I know how to use crutches properly but I can’t stand the lack of independence with both arms occupied.

My knee rover has been a life saver! I’ve had close calls on the crutches being non weight bearing, and have ribcage arthritis that they aggravate causing chest spasms. Was able to make it around the airports over new years! I regret not splurging on the all terrain option though, as my treatment could be rather lengthy with multiple breaks. Definitely worth it!

Wow amazing, I love the knee scooter personally. The iWalk is very cool and those who love it love it, but I feel like a lot of people just never get comfortable with it, especially with fast movement and putting it on and off

@@DrTomBiernacki thank you for asking. The foot is doing well, only have occasional zings on the fifth metatarsal area, top of foot and 4th and 5th toe area. Swelling is much better with compression socks I recently started using from your videos, although mine are much cuter. I have the Knee Rover Economy because I bought it before the MRI when they found more fractures than the Jones. I’m 5 weeks in today, he’ll decide after nexts weeks views when I can walk in the boot. I stepped into a sprinkle box without a lid while leaf blowing, ironically our yard is zero scaped. The hip bruise and pain from the rocks is finally fading which helped take the focus off my foot lol. Fortunately I’m a housewife, but we are frequently fliers. Don’t want my companion pass to go to waste like it did in 2020, so the scooter was a great buy to stay mobile.

I considered it, but am a bit of a klutz. With menopausal belly fat and a weak bladder I wanted something I felt sturdier on. My son would have loved that though when he tore his Achilles in high school football. He had great balance. We opted for a wheelchair and crutches in his case. His friends loved pushing him around school and were so helpful.

Highly recommend the Triumph Escape rollator if you need a rollator long term… Why? It can fold up in a nano sec and roll while folded ie: for narrow areas in apts/houses supermkts stores etc and handlebars are slightly slanted ie: your wrists aren’t in a 90 degree position There are also indoor rollators that aid in moving around with laundry trays for serving etc ie Rollz Strandler etc…also: a shopping tip… Amazon UK site is much better for premium rollators than the American site Basically, European designs are light years ahead of the American market

Don't buy an el cheapo knee roller, they.don't have steering stops and will tip over. The Knee Rover is sturdier, has better safer steering, and a good brake. Get a reusable shopping bag or a bucket, and you can carry your meals without spilling. Get an insulated coffee mug with a screw-on lid too.

You will change your mind, about crutches, when you see the advancements in the brand named “Mobi Legs”. These crutches will be perfect for you to review! Here’s the differences that make them stand out above all others. 1. The shoulder mechanism, under the arms, moves with the patient. The shoulder structure not only moves up and down, but totally rotates back and forth with the movement of the shoulders as the patient walks, causing total eliminating of any pain, under the arms. No more towels and duct tape with Mobi Legs!!! 2. The Mobi Leg crutch has single pole legs that are molded to fit any size person, no matter how short or how tall! There are two adjustments for length. One at the top to adjust the length from the underarms down to the hands and another adjustment from the knee down to the foot, making these crutches a perfect length for any size person! Also adding perfect stability. 3. The handles are molded with a slight slant to relieve the pressure on the hands. The flatter, wider handles distribute the weight evenly across the palm of the hand, no longer causing any pain! Mobi Legs are very comfortable!! They move with the patient’s stride of each step. 4. Lastly, the rubber tip at the end of the crutch is no longer round, but oblong with a rounded bottom that allows the patient to take a full step, eliminating hopping and skipping on the patient’s good leg. All of these improvements will help the patient, as they are walking with a natural stride, possibly making a shorter duration of physical therapy. And perhaps, the best attribute to these crutches, is the elimination of injuries to other joints like the shoulder, wrists, ankles and especially the back and hips. I whole heartedly recommend Mobi Leg crutches. Yes, they are more expensive, but there’s no price more worthy, when it comes to eliminating pain and adding comfort while a person is already suffering. I have loaned mine out to friends, many times, making them well worth the cost! I need to add that I am in no way associated with the company that makes Mobi Legs. When I had my knee replaced, my wrists were too weak to use a walker. I also have Fibromyalgia, so anything that helps eliminate pain, is priceless, in my book!
