l also got the BLF GT. You will definitely have a much higher lux reading at 15 meter plus distance. Thanks for this nice video. Cannot wait for the comparison test against the Tn42. Perhaps do a test further than 1km between the GT and TN42. That will be very interesting.

Currently the rainbow ends at about 5km if you use an LEP flashlight. :D

I live in an area, that I can't even use the K70 that I have all the way to it's potential. It uses the same LED has this light. Just has a smaller head ( which is why this one would throw further ). I'll stick with my K70 lol

Cool white throws farther. Neutral gives a more realistic look. Can see reds and colors better. More natural than cool white.

@Castle Bravo It's showing that at 200 meters it's brighter on an object than a light that has a 500 meter range. Just because a flashlight has a 2000 meter throw doesn't mean you can light up something brightly at that distance, especially on a camera. I can only light up a tree 500 meters away decently. Shining it at a white building is much more effective at a great distance because it's reflecting the light back, whereas a dark pine tree isn't. I was very disappointed in this light when I got mine as I thought I'd be able to light up a tree 1 km away easily. Every long distance beam shots online are onto a building, it's much less effective on trees. Thankfully I can buy a conversion kit and upgrade it to the newer release. GT XHP70.2 with 7500 Lumens but 1400 meters.

Don't let the shipping time scare you off, it only took about a week for mine through Amazon. Get the batteries so you get the right ones that are all the same. Don't drop it on you foot, and be careful where you point it.
