The biker scene is a tribute to several buddies that rode with a 1% club in the 70’s & 80’s.. The Cadillac ranch has really evolved in the last 12 months and is almost finished.. Always an enjoyable time spent checking out Southern Pacific Lines. Love the 4.25 scenery -- can find myself rock climbing or leisurely relaxed on the valley floor. The yellow Pete bathed by beauties made me smile wide. Females always add to the scenery. A fun time spent watching your vids, as per usual. I'm ready for spring after a two month bedrest. Hope my body stays together as the warmer months approach. Hope you're doing well, Dave. Thanks for posting cool N scale stuff. A great mental getaway. Hobbies are the perfect medicine in a world of increasing impatience.

Thanks Mate.. appreciate your kind words and taking the time to stop by and watch.. the T1 runs amazing straight out the box.. a bit unusual for Broadway, I normally have to run them in.. as for the layout, it is running well at the moment(touch wood) although funny story to share.. recently I spent days trying to find a dead short in a turnout.. just about to get the Dremel and cut it out and discovered I had knocked a DPDT Power Switch to centre-off.. Yup..old age.. haha (Note to self: check all power block switches first)

I did spend a bit extra time cutting, and watching the playback i think i could have cut a few extra seconds here and there.. I am getting better at editing.. Hello mate! First time I've ever been called El Duderino. Kinda like it. Nice. haha. Good here mate. -2 degrees centigrade here. I'm not going out, so no problem :) Son's just left for college. Yes! The GG1! You've got it in the best livery, too. The tuscan, bicentennial, Penn and Amtrack ones are nowhere near as nice as the Brunswick Green. You could run some catenary through that section of track where the GG1 is parked? Couldn't you? It is quite a modern looking area, what with that flooodlight tower and silos/tanks. Made it ALL paid off. It was a great video. :)

Haha.. glad you like being called El Duderino.. shit -2 degrees, I haven't experienced that cold a temp in years.. winter nights here get down to single digits but even winter days can be 10 - 20 degrees.. summer on the other hand can be hot humid like at the moment.. only high twenty's but 80 - 100% humidity.. I need a layout room that has air-con climate control and might get more done.. the GG1.. Brunswick Green is my fave too.. I also have the Bi-centennial version but I have yet to convert it to DCC.. one day soon.. I don't really want to add catenary to this layout as it's more West Coast themed.. I have a layout that would perfect.. It's 3m x 1m with a centre divide skyboard.. 3 mainlines.. possible Chicago one side and Los Angeles other side and was built by a former friend.. at the moment it's standing on it's end in a corner as i have no room to set it up.. chat soon mate.. or should i say El Duderino.. ;-)

A great running layout Dan.. L.A. side has a simulated L.A. river basin (like in Grease) with railroad bridges across it and the Chicago side was going to have yes you guessed it..!! Skyscrapers.. Look up a company Custom Model Railroads - here's the link.. I live in Australia so can't really help.. everything i buy costs double what you can buy it for in the USA.. Only other thing is Facebook N scale buy/sell groups..? Or look for a set of Kato smooth-side coaches in any road name.. the old six & four car sets then get them custom painted and decal-ed.. go follow my Instagram page of the same name Southern.Pacific.Lines.N.Scale and I can send more info through the DM.. It’s a TOMYTEC/ Tomix from Japan.. You could check Plaza Japan or Hobby Search 1999 Japan.. 12v led’s and the plug is compatible with Woodland Scenics Just Plug lighting system which I run 12v DC so it’s compatible with most accessories.. Dave

Do you need to use a special DCC function to get the number boards lighted? I have the exact same model and the number boards are definitely not lighted...

thanks for the kind words on the layout.. I did notice the "rock'n'roll" on the T1 during video playback.. I have the M1B and that runs sweet as yours does.. I had already packed the T1 away when i noticed so will have to get it back out for look at some point but was wondering if it was because of the 4-4 driver arrangement? if something is slightly out could it throw the driver arrangement out? Southern Pacific Lines - N Scale not sure, I remember when BLI posted a vid of it running on their KZbin and it didn’t wobble. I absolutely envy your layout!
