Thanks for this reminder video! I actually own the older version and mostly keg and use it very rarely now and needed a refresher. I remember having the beer line issue and solved it with microwaved water. I'd microwave some water for a minute, pour it over the connected beer hose and beer tube, and the hose end became just soft enough for me to use my thumbnail to easily remove it from the beer tube. Thanks for this video! 👍🏾

Nice video. The one other thing I used to do when filling the bottle, was to purge the neck space of the bottle when pulling out the beergun, since air replaces the volume of the gun itself, and it doesn't really foam up enough to "cap on foam".

Nice overview, I have the Last Straw and works pretty similarly. Been loving being able to fill bottles easily for friends

Great video. Used this to just confirm my processes and this was a great reference. Thanks! One note is that when I disassemble, I put the gun in a bucket of hot water and then the beer tube is easy to remove. The same is true when putting it on - that is, if I get the tube hot with hot water under the tap first, it is easy to put on. Then, letting it cool before bottling, of course.

A beer gun is a great thing to have in the brewhouse! Pretty similar to the northern brewer product I have.

Great video with a nice overview. I dont bottle much, but when I do I use my bench mounted counter-pressure bottle filler.

Very helpful video, thanks for that. I saw that the bottling/canning pressure is 6 psi, but what is the pressure, temperature and for how long do you carbonate the beer? Thank you!
@TroubleBrewing9 ай бұрын
I typically do 35psi for 1 day and then go down to serving pressure (10 psi), Its fine after one day but after a few more days the carb level is perfect.

If you pick up a pump sprayer ( used for pests) it's under $20 at the big box store. You can snip the end and add a carb cap. I use it it to clean everything. Simply swapping out out gas to liquid makes it my favorite tool in the brewery

Great video. By any chance do you know if this kit can be used with a Type-D coupler and keg?
@TroubleBrewing2 жыл бұрын
I would think so as long as you have the quick disconnects on the Type-D. Though before picking this up definitely check out the site/email support on that. Id hate for you to buy something and have it not work!
@galileoelchango23942 жыл бұрын
@@TroubleBrewing I did just that, they responded they have an adapter from the quick carb that worked perfectly. Thanks a lot for the advise!!

You can just pull the liquid tube off of the beer gun. You shouldn’t need to cut anything… mine is easy to pull off. Alternatively, get a carbonation cap and a coke bottle. Fill the bottle with cleaning solution / sanitizer and connect it and the carb cap to the beer gun. Push the liquid through that way.

Oh interesting, mine is a pretty tight fit. Also GREAT idea on the carbonation cap and coke bottle. Never thought of that!

That's what I was gonna say👍🏻 I used to use PET bottles and card cap to clean my beer lines and tap for my Keezer.
