This remix does one thing surprisingly well. Some parts depict the line that separates the cosmic vibe of this song... with one that makes it pretty damn sinister. If Necrozma's influence on the legendaries is indeed the bearer of bad news, then this is the vibe I'd expect out of the battle theme.

When the music leaked, and I heard the original song, I was disappointed by the fact that the legendary music in SuMo didn't sound like legendary music. But then I played the actual game, and it actually makes sense story-wise. After all...SPOILERS You weren't fighting the legendary to save the world from destruction via its power. You were accepting a friend, who had already helped you save the world, onto your team. For all we know, Ultra SuMo will be different, and we fight the legendary under more orthodox circumstances. If that's the case, then this epic remix makes sense.

This is by far my favorite legendary theme. It is dynamic, and keeps moving smoothly. The others mainly sound very thin and weak compared to lesser themes in the games, such as wild encounters or evil team battles (Team Flare’s is the best). The only other themes I like are the Gen IV legend’s, because they make you feel like you are really battling gods.

This version feels so intense. I once said the original sounds like the opponent you're facing is powerful, but isn't actually a threat, more like a friend. This version, then, makes me feel like you're fighting a corrupted version of said friend, making them more of a threat than a friend. But this isn't just a battle for the world, this is a fight to reclaim that friend.
