Blind B51-A - The Ultimate Archtop

Hello Benjamin. This B-51 is actually my order. Ive patiently waited the better part of a year for this beauty. Virgile was essential in helping me hone in on this build. I knew that set of Pernambuco needed to be on something special. I second guessed myself a little on the ebony top because that torrified Adi top came in so great on its own. But Virgile reassured me it was the right fit, so I trusted him. I think he was right 😂. What do you think? Wonderful review. You play beautifully, truly. I look forward to more content from you on this growing channel.

All that I can say is that you're gonna receive a FANTASTIC instrument. All is absolutely perfect in this guitar. The attention to detail is mind-blowing. You're gonna fall in love with it.

I don’t mind at all! It was great to be heard for the first time, in the hands of a great player. Virgile requested to hold onto the guitar a couple weeks after it was complete and I was more than happy to oblige. I’m glad you got to experience the instrument and make some content. I assure you it’s going to a great home where it will be played daily and cased with humidity 😊. I’m sure the woods will open up lovely over the years.

Just WOW! What can I say … you said it all. Such a beautiful and great sounding guitar. I feel bad for you to let it go. You are the perfect presenter of guitars. Blind guitars should be very happy. And thanks for speaking English, you did a great job. Unfortunately this guitar is outside my financial range (and I usually play fingerstyle). There will be a lucky guy in US. Hi!! Don't worry about your english, it's mostly good enough for people to understand it... And that is what matters, pros saying... Does he usually have a guitar of this type for demonstration at the workshop? it's a two hour drive from my place when I'm down south

Salut Manu, merci pour ton commentaire. Je ne crois pas que Virgile ait toujours une archtop en stock. Mais ses L00 sont également de vraies bombes pour le jazz.

Bonjour Manuel, Malheureusement comme le dit Benjamin je n'ai pas d'archtop en stock à l'atelier (ce sont des oiseaux rares qui prennent du temps à fabriquer). Mais je n'ai plus non plus de B-26 😭.... et je ne sais pas quand je trouverai le temps d'en refaire une pour le showroom...

@@virgilepilon9630 c'est généralement le cas pour la lutherie artisanale moderne, qui n'est plus le fait d'un "atelier" mais d'un homme seul... j'ai un peu connu les anciens ateliers parisiens à deux, trois ou quatre... tu pouvais craquer sur une guitare faite en plus des petites séries... mais l'époque ne le permet plus, je sais
