Thought: Sad warning I kinda imagine Celestia to constantly have to fight depression on another level, because if she wasn't even allowed a day off to just- mourn her sister's banishment. She had to 'celebrate' the defeat of a monster. What if she just broke within those thousand years- and never rose the sun. When Luna was banished to the moon, Celestia had to raise and lower both the sun and Moon..... thinking about it, that must mean Celestia didn't sleep for a thousand years, since the moon and sun move constantly. And in every waking moment, she'd only have her thoughts to keep her company.... that's...that's harsh..... Luna got punished and was sent to the moon, but Celestia got punished as well, knowing that she could never sleep with her sister away and having her thoughts filled with everything she did wrong and why her sister wasn't there every moment she had alone. And even with others, the thoughts must have been there in the back of her mind.

Well.... Luna again.

No matter how many times I watch this animation, I still get chills. Also for some reason, I can easily imagine this as a "bad ending" to Frozen, with Elsa as Celestia and Anna as Luna. A bad ending where after being neglected by Elsa for so long, Anna became bitter and angry, unleashing her own hidden powers and became a twisted, nightmare-ish version of her former self. I really liked how Celestia’s mane changed from pink to a rainbow. The idea that using the Elements left a permanent scar and a bittersweet reminder that she didn’t do more to help Luna. Something that, she would be reminded of doing for the rest of her days, everyday when she looks into a reflective surface. It’s incredibly tragic, and honestly, I wish pre Elements!pink mane Celestia was canon. This was beautifully made, and you can tell a lot of love was put into this animation.

I may be stretching, but since everyone is pointing out things to make this video and song way more sad than it already is... somehow, lol.. I literally JUST noticed something in the video I hadn't noticed years ago, and honestly.. part of me wishes I didn't see this cos now I can't see the video the same every again. But if you rewind the reaction video to the timestamp 4:14, you'll actually see a bottle on the table beside Luna and a spilled cup on the ground just to the top right of her head. When I saw that, I instantly wanted to tear up because the first thing that came to my mind was that is was alc0h0l. I was swear, if that's what WarpOut intended there, the thought of Luna drinking away her pain after being overshadowed by Celestia basically her entire life, and then all to get banished to the moon in the end... That's a whole other level despair and sadness. If that is what they intended, it honestly just adds one more layer to Luna's character already being so sad.

I remember you Blank Slate. It was only 4 or 5 years ago when I was in this fandom and now I'm revisiting a few big things I remembered loving back then. Now the gen 5 movie has come out and while it obviously isn't fully the same it's still pretty good if a bit cheesy, but so was the original. I loved watching your videos even though when I was small and not as great in English as I am now I skipped over some bits because I didn't have an attention span. It's bittersweet finding out what has happened in the years I haven't kept up with the fandom, who has gone away.
