This was pretty mild compared to the Want it, Need it spell that had everyone trying to kill each other over a doll. 😂😂😂😂😂 She probably just shrugged her shoulders and rolled with it. Okay, this bugs me. First of all, humans are animals too, but as a species, our digestion is different than that of other animal species. Thus human food isn't usually healthy for other animals to eat. This still applies to food specifically meant for other species as well. If I gave a rabbit cat food, it probably won't eat it. And if I force the issue, I doubt that rabbit is going to digest it as well as a cat would. Secondly, we don't typically call ourselves animals because we display features that set us apart from other animals. But these ponies display the same things that we consider to be the separators between ourselves and other animals; a high intelligence, complex societies, and the capacity and willingness to understand shape the world around us. Considering them animals is just as useful as considering humans animals, technically correct, but there is meaning in the separation. Or are you saying that the vetenarian that took care of Angel and Tank is just as qualified to work at the local hospital and that Fluttershy might as well start a daycare service because she likes taking care of animals, so why not ponies too?

I didn't particularly care much for this episode, I mean it was fine, there's nothing wrong with it, but it feels more like a season 2 or season 3 episode, not a season 7 episode. But the whole fantasy that Pinkie had of a different version of Rainbow Dash was definitely my favorite part in the episode, so hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes! XD. But I can understand why Rainbow did what she did, she didn't want to hurt Pinkie's feelings by saying she didn't like pies, while what she did wasn't good, her intentions were at least good. Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

As a whole, I thought this episode was pretty funny, though I was less bothered by Rainbow Dash's lies, and more bothered that she would sometimes throw away perfectly good pie. Donating is all well and good, but throwing it away is a bit much.

As always, DWK makes a great point in his rendition of this episode: disliking pies doesn't make any sense. Since you can stick positively anything in them, it's just silly to discard them in general. You'd have to be gluten-sensitive, or dislike dough in general or something like that, and we know Dash doesn't fit any of those things, as she's been seen eating cakes, donuts, pizzas, etc. Put together, as gross as it is, DWK's explanation is actually the most plausible one here.
