What I love about the guitarists of BG is that THEY JUST DON'T WANK THEIR GUITARS! The solos are just as important as the vocals. Whenever I hear the solos of great guitarists like Frank Zappa, Tom Morello, Omar Rodriguez-Lopes, Steve Vai and Jimi Hendrix I think: Yes, great plinking and plonking, boys (especially you Vai), but it still feels like your fillers no matter how hard you empathize that everything is planned out in detail. These guys deliver solos that stick in your mind..
