I love this band, and this girl is amazing 💜💜💜💜💜 she has grown up singing with them, her ease on the stage totally shows now, she is at home with them. So horrible that Shannon is gone.....but this story could not be any better

I mean, she's a girl, of course she isn't going to look just like him. But every time she smiles I see Shannon. Her mannerisms are Shannon. Her big heart and love for music are Shannon. Made over. She has his old soul. She's so smart and regardless of how she looks, Shannon lives on in her, despite the fact that she didn't get to grow up with him. And I think she's done so well for herself after everything.

@Mariana Frusciante I dont imagine she would get into drugs knowing what they did to her dad, also Shannon had abuse problems before Blind Melon, because that's what Change was about, and the song that got him into the band.

As much as I'd love that too, like other people said, she may not want to be in a band and have that lifestyle. But in her best interest, the band might not want her to be in the band either in fear of her going down the same path as her father. From what I heard, they fired their first replacement singer because he started using heavy drugs and they didn't want to go through that again. It's easy to cycle down the wrong path when you're a rock star and that stuff is so easily accessible.
