Balenciaga has truly evolved from class to trash. Look at when it’s founder, Cristobal Balenciaga would design and make clothes during his time. Now it’s all overpriced, ridiculously priced basic items.

A shame that the owner company of Balenciaga is Kering, because originally Balenciaga was founded by a man called Cristóbal Balenciaga (yes, that's his actual last name, is not a made up word, is an actual last name from Spain) and he was very original with his designs but NOT to this point. He wanted to create new silhouettes for both men and women but still make the clothing very wearable (even Christian Dior copied some of Balenciaga's designs). Balenciaga would probably turn in his grave if he could see all of this sh¡t.

Cristobal Balenziaga was brilliant. A truly talented designer and many other great designers trained in his atallier. He'd be appalled his name is being misused in this way.

Just throwing this out there...small women, even the tiny ones are still normally sized women. You're generally a delight. I do notice, sometimes, that women can get annoyed about stuff and, inadvertently point a finger at other women. I'm sure you know companies do what they do and people outside of those companies rarely have any sway over the decisions the company makes. We still can't get pockets for fuck sake. I don't think it was intentional and I still think you're delightful. ❤

I think its less like any woman shape is "not normal" and more like women are tired of the medias portrayal of of what we must look like to be considered beautiful, and/or the inaccessibility and difficulty in finding clothes that actually fit.

The tote bag, LMAO. My youngest son works for a company that grows/sells weed. Every year they send out very similar tote bags to all the stores who sell their products, who in turn give them to customers who purchase their weed. I have several!

Does anyone remember the live action Aeon Flux? The pantaleggings make me think of the futuristic sci-fi fashion they used on set. Except the fashion designers just put non-sheer, solid color hoes OVER the boot and pants to get the look they were after. That movie came out in 2005. So no, not a unique thought to be had.

The reason designers, not only luxury ones, are doing one earring is because many people will have only one ear pierced if it is in an unusual area, like the upper part or the inner part of the ear. Also when it is a cuff, as the one you looked at, you would only wear that on one ear, not on both ears. The price is so high because it is solid gold. Not a terrible price. That said I despise Balenciaga regardless and that ad a few months ago was vile.

Just wanted to throw this out there since I'm about two thirds of the way through the video and just hit the earrings. That single cuff earring was listed as "Gold brass". These earrings are listed as "Antique silver brass, resin and rhinestones". In case that hasn't caught any traction, they are selling silver plated brass covered in epoxy resin(poured plastic) and rhinestones for $1650. Wtf? I could literally make that, and do a better job since I'd at least be using sterling and Cubic Zirconium. Depending on the cost of materials and time, I could maybe justify $550 on the top end if I was planning to gouge the person buying them. Edit for clarity: The current price of 3mm CZ's is $17.60 per pack of 100 stones. Silver would be the pricy item, since it's currently going for about 35 dollars an ounce.

Designers do not know how to dress curves. They prefer to dress more androgynous body types because the clothes don't hit any hips or busts along the way. I don't have anything that body type but I do have something against lazy designers who can only dress thin people. Christian Siriano seems to be the only designer who will dress people bigger than a size 6. I saw what he did for Leslie Jones when no other designer would dress her. Christian Siriano has way more creativity than any of these other crusty thin worshipping over priced garbage houses 😂

Do you know about the “B” brand’s non-grownup related fashion ad scandals from a year ago (Nov ‘22 I think)? I’m guessing “no” so wanted to give you a heads up. I understand punching up, it’s fine, but, some brands are for the super rich. They don’t exist to please the average consumer.
