I like how Weiss looked away in battle and got bopped in the face. Yep, reminds me of later seasons of RWBY where they do that a bunch. Hot damn, Can we move some of these fight choreographers and animators to RWBY?

​@Whiterose Petal Tale ... Your joking right? V2- She lost against the White fang memeber V3- She lost Against Flyn 1 on 1. Flynn and wiess fought while Neon and Yang faought. The only time the 2 groups interacted was when Wiess got laid out so flynn attacked that actual threat. Wiess used that to throw him into the lava gyser BUT Wiess lost her aura and was disquilified while flynn was still in the match. She did a Failed kamikazi in a 1V1 where her opponent was distracted in last moment-She Lost. V5- She went up against Vernal and, While Cinder did get the suprise attack, it was only after Vernal had taken very few hits and Wiess had her Aura Broken and was on her knees in front of someone who could literally just shoot her to death. Ironically enough, if Cinder hadn't speared her she would have either been beheaded or lasered through the skull(I guess you could say she was Spared by Cinder ;) ). The fight was over and the best she could of gotten was a Draw which was unlikely, if even possible. Wiess Character Short- She loses to Winters Training Grimm/Summons, that's technically a Winter vs Wiess fight since all the summons are her semblances doing. Wiess Surrendered after being pounced on. In Other words aside from the Armored Gigas, She has lost every single 1V1 fight she was a part of. Wiess is probably Team RWBY's 2nd best member but she can only excel when in team battles that actually use cooperation. Shes a Strong Support class, but her Summons are her only real finishing blows, so without them most fights end up as her chipping away at her opponents, by using her Aura/Semblance to attack and dodge, instead of for taking hits. Problem is, if she doesn't Dodge everything that comes at her, then she takes hits to her aura which is her primary method of attack. She's effectively a Glass Cannon when in 1V1's.

@@the-NightStar Did you even play Persona 3? It's not a gut assumption on that guy's part, if you level up your party properly you'll be able to take on death itself and even the gods of the verse. Mitsuru is capable of damaging beings that can nuke entire continents, she obviously wouldn't win without the rest of the party but still... I don't know what they were thinking with this fight.

I want to see Starlight Glimmer in a Deathbattle. Considering her range of spells arguably outclass even Twilight when it comes to adapting them to combat. Superspeed Flight Teleportation Shields Clones Can increase and decrease her size like Antman/Giantman Mind control Incredibly powerful horn laser blasts Transmogrifcation Time Travel (shes done it without the scroll or the map)

Apparently according to Death Battle, they will never feature MLP again on the show. They made this decision because all their past MLP fights have gotten some of the lowest numbers of views of anything they do, and still gets them a lot of hate and accusations of catering to "cancer" and "cringe" whenever they do it and are frankly tired of the fallout, lack of views and criticism they get everytime MLP is featured. They stand by their research and results proudly, but it seems they aren't able to sustain MLP content on the show simply due to how generally unpopular it is with their viewer base. So unfortunately, you're likely to never see that.

The only thing that annoyed me about this fight... Is the people who were bitchin about Death Battle having a RT bias so if Weiss won, they hated them for having her win, and if Weiss lost, they'd STILL hate them because they'd think it was to try and please others. Anyway i enjoyed the fight. :0

It still have bias in form of "bloodless death" - other people go around questioning "Did Weiss die or just knocked out?" First time that happened in death battle. So they didn't had guts to convincingly kill her on screen. and this is Bias. when they have no problems crushing small kids into meat paste or dismembering Sonic. Being protective is good and all, but constructive criticism have to be accepted

Istalior - sure but still, she fucking lost and that’s still a bias view? No. Just take it and have a nice rest of the day. Like people getting upset because “ohh there was no blood”. Yeah ok makes sense. but still she’s dead and her weapon is broken. So her whole “I’m more than a name” status is wrecked as well (her ego). That should be enough if RT is like “hey you can do whatever, just don’t make her die brutally. We already got enough depression in our main show”. I just don’t like how people are always looking for SOMETHING to get upset about.

only saying that since "Wiess is not dead" sentiment is going around. have seen a lot of reactors and comments going "ohhhh she is not dead, this is my canon. they didn't kill her". etc if they had disintegrated her body with the ice without ant blood it would have been fully fine. (that's also what i assumed happened in Twilight vs Raven) but they just made her fly off the screen, which is vague as heck. What this kill lacks not blood but conclusiveness

I mean, it really wasn't up to them. It's the research that dictates how it goes. Death Battle is not a popularity contest. RT agrees to let them use Weiss, but they don't influence the research and facts. People still to this day have this completely inaccurate assumption that Death Battle is some kind of popularity contest, when actually members of their own team are sometimes even dismayed by their own findings in a lot of cases but have to go through with what they find. They're very serious about the show and they have no bias, contrary to what certain shitheads who know nothing about what the team does, may think.

I say this as someone who KNOWS someone on the Death Battle team, and knows their mentality and what it is they put into their work. It went correctly and their research was 100% correct and just. It's interesting to hear your opinion between P3, P4, and P5. For me, P3 FES had my favorite story and persona awakening (The evoker's awesome and feels more intense personally than P4 or P5). P4 Golden had the best character development for me and just all around likable combat characters (Just a little more likable group of combat characters than P3 FES). I do like P4's awakening in accepting your shadow self as a concept, which I really enjoyed seeing making a return in P5, but the cards felt very dull and detached for me. P5 was great in its own merit, but as far as combat characters... I could only really get into Ryuji's confidant. Even the character with my favorite awakening scene, Makoto, had a very boring confidant story.

I dunno if Weiss' name is surposed to be pronounced like the german words (= white snow), but if so, they didn't get it right.

It's not. Official explanation is that any names from different languages that are pronounced differently are because there's no such country as Germany, China, etc. etc. on Remnant. So Weiss is pronounced the "Remnant" way instead of the German way.
