Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone! The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable editing with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb! The music is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and dexterity and Dimash's agility! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen! The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign, which we let pass while still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who can break the fourth wall! You want to go back to angel Dimash do his performance of Ave Maria. Not the Ave Maria we all know but one written just for him and there are no lyrics, just his voice. You can do fun cheeky Dimash, Opera 2 from Singer 2017, or another sultry Dimash, SInful Passion. Dimash does whatever genre he wants and always does them incredibly. He is going to surprise you and yes... Dimash can be so darn sexy and then break character and smile like an angel always.

Dimash will always use good taste in anything he does. He’s a very moral person. I’ve been watching him since 2017. I came across him performing on a Chinese singing competition. He was singing the song Adagio. He was just 22. He was invited onto the show which, up to then, was for professional Chinese singers only. Dimash is from Kazakhtan. He sang one song and, over night, his life changed. If you keep going down the Dimash trail, you will learn about a wonderful, kind, respectful young man with the best voice in the world. After seven years, he still surprises us with something new. Nice reaction. I hope you keep going. Bev

​@tradde11Yeah, a similar thing is at the end of The Story of One Sky - we don't know for sure if the Dimash at the end leading all the pilgrims is the same Dimash that was a soldier fighting the dictator in the video, or if it was his son, the baby grown up as his spitting image. It leaves you to be able to formulate your own conclusion. I think Dimash likes to leave a little of that ambiguity. 😊

You're one of the few that came up with the right question - was it a dream...or was it a memory? I like to think it was a memory since the story is already written in the paper, and she is the unknown journalist. Great song either way. Dimash said that for years he wanted to do a fusion of blues, R&B, and rock, and this is the fabulous result.
