It makes sense Rarijack being cannon on EQG. In the original series, both of them take parted ways as Rarity seems to be a fashion icon all over Equestria, while Applejack took charge in the farm, meaning that she didn't leave Ponyville.

I feel like the ending of this EQG special was anti-climactic with them being trapped in a white room. Kinda wished the scenario was going to be similar to that Mirror Magic special with what Juniper Montage did with that hand mirror.
