The moral of this episode reminds me of how I play online video games like MMOs. So many people love to be competitive and number crunch (min/maxing) to have the best character to raid and PVP with, but I find questing, adventuring, and exploring more fun.

I'm pretty sure Buckball was created for all three tribes in the early days of Equestria. In the past episodes featuring Appleloosa the entire town is nothing but Earth Ponies so it was noted that Braeburn managed to convince a Unicorn and a Pegasus to stay/play. As for the 'Apple family favorite' part. The Apples kick trees for a living so it's no surprise why they would enjoy Buckball. (Don't know why I didn't post this until now.)

This episode exceeded my expectations greatly!🙂 When I heard that there was an old character returning in this episode, I was kinda ecstatic. When I realized that the old character was Snails; I winced a little and was kinda disappointed. But, that all went away when I saw him being a competent character, surprisingly.😉 We know that RD and AJ are competitive athletes but, seeing Pinkie and Fluttershy playing a part in this sport was absolutely beautiful. Honestly, would've expected nothing less for Pinkie to adapt to buckball on the spot; Fluttershy on the other hoof blew me away with her slick maneuvers while being extra adorable as well!😊 Like you said, this was a fantastic episode and a nice follow up from the last one too.

I hadn't heard about an old character returning, so that made it more fun for me. Can't say I'm not a little disappointed that Lyra and Vinyl weren't among the Unicorns trying out for the team though. Oh well, at least we had Lyra cheering from the sidelines. Oh, and yeah, Fluttershy was surprising, but I think it speaks volumes about her growth of character. She's gained enough self confidence that she's now more willing to try new things, things which she could be really good at and never realized. Many ponies are multi-talented, and I think Fluttershy is a very capable individual with a lot of talents, and she is now able to start discovering some of those talents.

I came up with shorter names for the mane 6 that i like to call them. They may not be stellar but they work for me. Twilight sparkle> Tspark Pinkie Pie> Pie ann (Pie + Diane, which is pinkie's middle name) Rainbow Dash> Colors. AppleJack> AJ (They even use this nickname occasionally in the show) Rarity> Jemma (GEMma) Fluttershy> FlyShy.

I liked this episode. How the characters were portrayed was amazing. Fluttershy and Pinkie really shined in this episode. It was great to see fluttershy loose it. poor pinkie becoming traumatized. Dash and Applejack were excellent as a more side characters as well as Snails. Snails was amazing, I hope after seeing him like this that maybe we could get a snails, snips, Diamond tiara and silver spoon episode. excellent reaction and end comments. XD AJ and Dash getting worn to a frazzle reminded me of the movie The Game Plan, where the football quarterback attempted to do exercises with a ballet teacher, and he got the workout of his lifetime, sweat pouring off his face, and the ballet teacher was like "come on, we're just getting warmed up". XD

There's a lot of conflicting information about the game in this episode. Some statements suggest it's brand new, whereas others indicate it's been around for a while. Applejack said the Apples have been playing it for a while. Hard to say how new it is, exactly.

This episode is reminding me of work. Or More Specifically, it reminds me of my observation at work in that people do things a lot better under their own influence. Seriously, the more the bosses call out that workers aren't being fast enough, or some other thing they have issue with, the more the team seems to struggle to succeed. People shouldn't be chained by the expectations of others.

So, from what I can tell, that "practice" AJ and RD did with Pinkie and Flutters in the end was deliberately to help them have fun playing buckball again, and to make sure they got their own just deserts. I also think that they meant it when they said Pinkie and Flutters didn't have to play against Appleloosa in the end, and that doing it was their choice.

Yep, exactly. Not only did they honestly apologize for what they had done to Pinkie and Fluttershy, but they setup that practice match in order to get them to have fun again and regain their confidence. Add to that their earlier admission that Pinkie and Fluttershy were better at this game than them, and you have exactly the level of maturity that I would expect to see from Rainbow Dash and Applejack after almost 6 seasons. ^_^

And oh my gosh Snails wasn't complete and absolute shit in this episode, that's some great character development. Overall, i think this may enter in my top 10 of the season.

snails isn't really gifted in magic in fact his magic is as good as the average unicorn at best. The only reason he put the rest of those unicorns to shame is because they were overthinking or not really caring much in the first place. they were so worried about getting hit by the ball it caused them to panic hence forth why they were overthinking it. Snails on the other hand doesn't think about anything ever as he has mentioned in the episode which made it so much easier for him to play buckball. Snails just acts without thinking which is why he wasnt worried about getting hit. Snails doesn't think he just acts which in situations like that thinking isn't always necessary, in fact sometimes it can make things harder depending on the scenario

@@Baransu6644 I know its late posting this but I thought I'd point out that Snips is still a young Unicorn (Don't know how age works out in that world I'd say 12 if I had to put a number on it). Also to be honest, he could go some way if he had the right motivation or some Poney to take time out to show him what he could do with effort but maybe he just wants the simple life. Though I do agree on the other Unicorns where not really caring about the game or they were over thinking about it or was trying to show off like the female Unicorn who got sick when she span the bucket.

Twilight may be an Alicorn, but she could still do the job. Might be considered cheating though. Rarity doesn't strike me as the type to want to exert herself in a sport like this. For some reason I didn't even think about Starlight, that could have been a lot of fun. But like I said later, I imagine she's busy doing lessons with Twilight, and Rarity is probably busy with her boutiques. The water in the buckets? Could be magic, or could be centrifugal/centrepital force. ;) Backrests...I see what you mean, minor animation flaw, nothing to worry about. Fluttershy and Pinkie had role reversal in this. Pinkie had a breakdown much like Fluttershy used to in earlier seasons, and Fluttershy saw her friend in trouble and came out swinging. Fluttershy has been known to be quite forceful when protecting those important to her. Still though, DANG! XD

Are you referring to how channels no longer get severely crippled when they get a copyright strike? If so, I'm quite happy about that. It was incredibly unfair to content creators. Yes, there will always be people who abuse the system, but they need to find ways to deal with that without treating everyone like criminals.

yea. Apparently its annoying big named youtubers that their videos are unmonetized for not being "advertiser Friendly", Its everyone calling it censorship. I try not to cuss in the videos i make. The thing that pissed me off before all this though, was HAsbro going and claiming most of my Review videos and not realizing they Violated Fair use. >_>

Oh, THAT issue. That's not really a copyright issue, rather a content guidelines thing. I'm kind of conflicted on it, because I see valid arguments on both sides. Perhaps KZbin needs to come up with some kind of a content rating system for uploaded content, beyond the simple "contains adult content" flag, and then advertisers can select which ratings they want their ads to be applied to. This wouldn't be that much different than how things work on TV. As for Hasbro monetizing stuff, I haven't seen your videos, and I'm far from an expert on fair use guidelines, so it's possible that Hasbro does monetize stuff that they shouldn't. That said, Hasbro has also been exceptionally lenient regarding use of their content on KZbin for reaction videos and other things. I for one don't personally feel that it's morally acceptable to make money off my own use of someone else's content, so I have never attempted to monetize any of my videos. I don't even have monetization turned on on my channel, never have. I'm aware Hasbro monetizes all my reactions, and I'm perfectly fine with that, because it helps add to their bottom line in terms of making the MLP franchise profitable.
