Blind Willie McTell cover by Beth Bombara

What another wonderful experience at our first visit to Green Lake Opera House. I’ve been following Beth Bombara since meeting her at FARM 2022, and I was excited that she picked up a Thursday gig in Green Lake which is 2 1/2 hours away and also two thirds of the way to my aunt’s funeral I was going to attend on Friday. Win, win, and boy the nights stay (off season rates) at the incredible 5 star hotel Heidel House was another plus.
Beth solo is the way I love to listen to her music, and she didn’t disappoint doing my favorites plus a kick ass Dylan cover. When she did my favorite “Stay at Home Blues” I thought there was a new verse, so I went back and re-listened the video I took in the private showcase somewhere around 1:00 in the morning at FARM.
