As always when it comes to Sarcos, they forget to mention, that you can shoot of a Sarcos back, what makes it very usefull early on taming other water creatures without beeing in danger all the time.

Sarcos are great! Insanly fast, pretty strong and a pivot turn. Only two things to worry about: Alpha Tusos and Jellyfish. The Liopleurodon really needs some love. Maybe make it so that we can reroll a drop or something.

Also make the Lio permanent. Feed it some rare whatever and you can reroll Drops for a limited amount of time. Could make this thing actually useful.

I truly do think that the Liopleurodon should have a variant that's smaller and wayyyy more common, being a permanent tame that doesn't have the buff, just as an early/mid game ocean mount that's better than the megalodon.

@@lainsmall2683 ive seen 2 and the first one i tried tranqing to tame and it vanished as showed in the video and then the second one i was able to tame but couldnt find any drops the whole 30 mins lol

There's a mod someone made of a tiny little mini plesio type thing but it's zippy and awesome. I can't remember what it's called though and it's supposed to be a fairly early game tame

I remember the liopleurdon being my favorite dinosaur as a kid. When it released on ark I was actually speechless. I didn’t believe they did my boy so dirty with so much disrespect

I wished that there was a mod where a bomb hit the island and destroyed everything in site including the dinos and you have to survive 24 hours in a bunker. I hope they make this mod, love you and your videos.

I will note that I captured two baby oviraptors in the wild. I noticed people are saying they don’t spawn with babies but they do. Mine were twins and the opposite gender as well 😤

looking back on these dinos this is how I personally would have ranked them had they been known from the start. 1. Carcha 2. Rex 3. Argy 4. Megatherium 5. Ovary Raptor 6. Sarco 7. Lystro 8. MicroRaptor 9. Onyc 10.Lio

@ no but carcha can be tamed before argy since with argy you need tranqs and carcha yoi just need a decent weapon to kill some dinos with or even just a wild diplo and its baby plus carcha is a really good base defense dino with its natural high health and dmg

@@jacobbuchanan3555 thing is, argy is one of the most versatile tames-fast, good weight, smithy saddle, decent damage, healing buff And let’s be real By the time u stumble across an argy, u will have access to tranqs, and by the time u stumble across a carcha, you will have tranqs

Rex is usually go to tame for bosses but as mentioned in the comments it's pretty boring tame at this point. From these big carnivores i prefer Carchar much more but i dont get to use it very often since i did not get to tame high lvl one yet on ASA and somehow i always ended up using Thyla anyway xD. Pretty good rankings. Also only time i ever tamed Lioplurodon was for the achievement, never bothered with it again. A lot of creatures like that could use a TLC but i think we will have to wait for Ark 2 at this point.

Charcharodontosaurus is actually awful on the island. It can only collect basic resources so its not good for harvesting, is to big to fight bosses and can only do the teck cave. Rexes are so much better on the island
