It was good to see Fennec Shand from The Mandalorian make an appearance along with Ming-Na Wen returning to voice the character again, even it was cool seeing the planet of Pantora and the Pantorans making an appearance. Seeing Pantora makes me hopeful we get to have Dark Disciple adapted as an animated film. Lastly, I think that the Kaminoans were the ones who hired Fennec to capture Omega and it seems that in the next episode or two the Bad Batch would have to turn to becoming mercenaries in order to get some credits to survive.

as an animator one thing I will say is that depth of field may SEEM like a "cheap thing to do", but it can GREATLY increase render time. depending on the settings, etc. its like motion blur to an extent, for it to look good in the final product you need have a high number of "samples", think, passes. the more you have the longer it takes to render out each frame of footage. maybe different programs and renderers treat it differently, but I just know that its one of the things you have to keep in mind if you are worried about render times.

It's funny because her voice sounds like she did in Mulan, which was my first experience Ming-Na Wen. Obviously this to me seems like an expansion of the "shades of grey " idea they introduced in Rogue One. Obviously I'm down for that since even the noble Jedi got bogged down by things like this. Given that Echo is the last of Domino squad, I'm so happy he got some focus. It seems clear to me that Fennick was hired by Kamino, given they'd have some capital to hire her after the War. Also they have hired hunters in the past to train their beloved squads, so it makes sense. The one comparison I will say is unlike another Star animated series(FROM ANOTHER FRANCHISE)on right now, this one seems ok with mixing the clone pairings(as opposed to doing the same group pairing week to week)in episodes. And I'm good with that

Loving the themes in this series already. Especially with omega. That loss of innocence in a great big universe. She is beginning to lose her innocence when all she wants to do is explore the stars. She’s restricted due to the environment she is in and situation she’s found herself in. Similar with anakin who wanted to be the first one to see them all (stars) and similar with broom boy. Oppression and imperialism stops this from happening

If you carefully watch the previous show, you can see that during the crash Wrecker hits his head on the crash frame he is in. That explains the pain in his head. Nothing to do with the inhibitor chip.

The show could have been bold and give us a "scary hulk" moment with wrecker in the maintenance sewer, actually show him as a scary, unstoppable force from the POV of someone outside of the bad batch but no; somehow that small woman pushed the hulk and put him down in one move. Fennec! She's Here! Since we saw him in The Clone Wars, I suspect teenage/twentysomething Boba Fett is still out there running a Bounty Hunter ring, just like his father Jango Fett did during the movie Attack of the Clones. Jango contracted bounty hunter Zam Wessell to assassinate Padme (and doesn't Fennec resemble Zam quite a bit?). So it wouldn't surprise me if Boba took a page from his dad's playbook and we find out that Fennec is ALREADY working with Boba Fett (in fact, would it be all that surprising to find out she first started working with Jango and he mentored her?). So did the Kaminoans? The Empire? Or a 3rd Party broker (Boba via the previous two?) hire Fennec? What a kick-ass backstory for Boba and Fennec if this is in fact revealed before The Book of Boba Fett. I first wondered about this because I don't think it was just mere chance that Boba ran across Fennec's lifeless body - he was LOOKING FOR his dear friend & colleague (because there was a tracker on her)

I get those fatherhood stuff but since Omega is a clone that’s their 1st sister. The only girl clone so far. And not to mention that she’s actually 10yrs. old while her clone brothers are 13yrs. old.

​@@CaesiusX Well... this is a "kids show" so they considered teaching kids not to trust strangers in the outside world cuz u don't know any of them. And a fact to consider is that she was being trained for medical, not for combat given in the 1st episode.
