Yeah, Mr. Satan is strong, but is dwarfed by the main cast. To be honest, if he had appeared in the original Dragon Ball, namely around the Red Ribbon Army arc or earlier, he *ACTUALLY* would be a credible threat.

Fun Fact. If you exclude the use of Ki, Mr.Satan is the strongest Human fighter. However the strongest Human is Krillin due to his use of Ki.

And no, there are plenty of non-ki users far stronger than him, Ox King was superior to Kid Goku at the start, and Nam fought a much stronger Goku at the 21st Budokai, even Chi Chi as a kid was able to kill a massive dinosaur.

even though mr. satan is treated as a joke, that dude obviously has WAY more talent than the average human. not only did he become a champ of a world martial arts competition, he maintained his lead, over regular competitors, without ever even bothering to train. Dude mostly lounges around watching videos of himself and doing PR, and yet he still is on top of most humans that don't use ki.

Not really, its even shown he won the tournament out of luck against the last guy. There's probably a decent amount of fighters who are closer to normal humans who are above him....even ones who don't use ki.

Okay, I know this video is quite old. But there is a moment, during the Cell Games...that was really awesome. It's the moment, that Gohan is literally being tortured to death..and Goku is just watching it happen, because he knows how powerful Gohan is...but Gohan doesn't have the will to use it. And despite the fact, that Piccolo is completely outmatched by Cell..he's still willing to jump in to try and save him...despite being overpowered.
