Yes and no. This trunks music it's not on the original japanese socre made by Shunsuke Kikuchi, but from the Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 2 theme for the snes (Cell saga). There this theme appeared for the first time, and from there it was rehashed for super butoden 3, final bout, and so on. BTW japanese soundtracks rules.

Goku really did send a rabbit to the moon... well a rabbit man thing person- like one of the animal/people races that live in the series but are never really explained and are rarely important characters- the most important being Oolong I guess lol. That was well before the moon was destroyed though, so if that Rabbit somehow lived and survived being on the moon- which in dragonball logic may work, he still would have died when the moon was destroyed.

16:47 Cell's flashback was from that episode. The Trunks vs Cell fight had an episode which was 90% powering up where we saw Trunks past with he and Gohan fighting the Androids (Gohan has the face scars but still has both arms so someone messed up there) as Trunk's continued to get bigger we saw Cell's past that had him entering the main timeline. Then they had the skirmish that Trunks won then the next episode started with Trunk suddenly no longer able to hit Cell.

Well let's calculate this.. It took 10 episodes for the season 1 Finale, 20 more episodes for the season 2 Finale, and will most likely take 30 more episodes (Technically 7 more episodes) for Season 3 to end. Which brings us at 60 episodes when Cell dies. Which means the final TFS episode will be the 100th episode (That is, if the Buu saga turns out to be 40 episodes), and it took them about 8 years to reach the 50th episode. Which most likely means that it'll take just as long for the end of Buu.

yeah, between DBZ and DB DB is much more preferable, especially with someone so reactive to it. DB had more of an actual story, and the characters actually had variety. most the cast from Z on would look almost exactly the same with their faces and bodies if you removed their hair.

I don't know if anyone ever told you, but the reason as for why they rarely use Bruce Faulconer music is because KaiserNeko grew up with the original japanese version, and he actually writes names like Krillin as Kuririn, even though he still pronounces it Krillin. And the Destructo Disc has been called Kienzan before too. :)

My theory on baby Trunks's tail is that Bulma removed it on like Day 1 after he was born (Think of it like a Saiyan circumcision). Think about it, she was present for several of Goku's transformations in Dragonball (end of Pilaf saga, during his fight with Roshi, etc.) So she'd be scared of that shit happening in the middle of the city at Capsule Corp.

you guys can do like a riff tracks thing for dragonball, but a podcast discussing the episodes would be good too, maybe go over 3 or 4 episodes and post them maybe twice a week if you can when you're all free like friday and saturday or something. or maybe do it the same day as the mailbag.regardless i'm sure you can come up with something good, also what about the dbz games? obviously you can't do many since it would be spoilers for calvin. but anything about early dbz from saiyan to freeza saga would be good, i actually have one in mind. it's called chou saiyan densetsu for the snes. it's japanese only but there are some good English patches for it that i've used before. so maybe calvin and arron could both play it like they do leafgreen except without the fighting each other part (they could also do this for legacy of goku 2 after the cell saga is over with). anyways think about it (maybe ask your council too?) and maybe make a video on it when you decide how to go about it. looking forward to whatever you decide to do :)

The timeline is a bit fucked due to editorial meddling. Toriyama's plan was to make gero and 19 the main villains, but his editor hated them. He then made 17 and 18 to replace them, but they too were hated by the editor. Finally he made cell but could only make him work through a convoluted timeline

Its not called Ultra Super Saiyan officially, its called Super Saiyan 1 Stage 3, Vegeta was Super Sayian 1 Stage 2 when he fought Cell *SPOILER ALERT* for Calvin: Super Saiyan 1 Stage 4 is the full power form of SSJ1, complete mastery of SSJ1 with much more power then a Stage 3 and an increase in speed instead of decrease, (Which Goku and Gohan achieve when their training in the chamber is complete.
