I always love how they always say they hate the McPoyles, yet they get the biggest laughs from them every time they show up. And for good reason too, they're so memorable lol.

Mcpoyles are literally the greatest side characters in any comedy series IMO, every time they are on screen it is just pure comedy gold..... Hell they're the reason I got fully invested in the show with "The gang gets held hostage"

That bit epitomizes Danny Devito’s genius acting ability. To not only come up with that hilarious bit, but to do it in a way that is not perfect and fast all the way through, repeating words, starting new sentences before finishing the previous ones.. it’s brilliant

One of the best episodes of any sitcom and it brilliantly found a way to work in Kaitlin Olsen’s real life pregnancy into the show. And also invented the term brownout for being so drunk you forget (almost) everything.

I love this episode, it's basically It's Always Sunny does Rashomon, but with everyone being too inebriated to remember what actually happened - I don't know if this episode actually coined the term "browning out", but it's definitely become part of my everyday vernacular ever since watching this episode

I love how in every episode Calvin and Aaron predict exactly what is gonna happen or say exactly what some characters are gonna say before they say it, together with the remark from Eric some episodes ago of “this is such a YOU TWO type of argument” when the characters were arguing nonsensically 🤣 Makes me think that maybe they are alike these characters in some small way and that’s why they don’t like them 😂

I love how Frank doesn't change the "that was extremely masculine" line when he gives his perspective about the evening, because he doesn't want to hurt Charlie's feelings. Only when Mac tells the story it changes to the very likely real line, that Charlie misheard.
