Just to put it out here: Don't call this a remake. The members of TFS are really sensitive about this and already corrected this a million times. Here's the deal: BEFORE Team Four Star was founded, some of the members got together to make Abridged versions of Dragonball Z, starting with the First two movies. They...weren't all that great, but had some seeds of greatness in them. Still: They weren't considered canon, when TFS was officially founded, they were more of a dress rehearsal. However, since they were still made, they probably felt doing them again was a bit awkward,, and started with movie 3 in DBZ Abridged. Bottom line: The old "Dead Zone" and "World Strongest" are not part of DBZ Abridged, therefore the new versions are not remakes.

@@Raethrean that has nothing to do with the comment and that happened before the wish was made lol..the wish was made i believe around episode 12, when goku turns into the great ape (oozaru) while pilaf has them captured. Pilaf summons shenron and oolong ends up running out there and steals the wish and he wishes for "the world's most comfortable pair of underwear" so yes this happened in anime and manga.
