Okay. So, I know this episode is posted like a year ago and you probably already know this but I am going to explain it anyway. The princes of hell aren't really from the Bible. Peter Binsfeld (a German bishop and theologian) had prepared a classification of demons in 1589 which based on the seven deadly sins, these being: Lucifer: pride, Mammon: greed, Asmodeus: lust, Leviathan: envy, Beelzebub: gluttony, Satan: wrath, Belphegor: sloth. There are many other attempts at classification and the reason these princes' aren't always the ones I wrote is because this is merely their understanding about what the bible doesn't teach. Basically, Supernatural is just building the story without too much religion involved in the religious subject.

This season is all about expanding the universe. Time and time again the writers have said this. They are setting up stories, getting darker etc. Its meant to feel like season 1 and 2 which in my opinion it does.
