I believe Christopher Heyerdahl "Locke" was chosen for this role because of how he portrayed the character "Sam" in the series Van Helsing loosely based on zenescope comic of the same name. He was a serial killer as a child when he was a human and became worse when he was turned into a Vampire. It was an excellent 👌casting for a character I loved to hate.

We go from Peacemaker talking to kids in school (and discovering he possibly has a kid) to alien butterflies 🦋 brutally and horrifically possessing and entire police force and the inmates of their jail. Only in a James Gunn movie. Also Eagly is the most badass bird I have ever seen.

Peacemaker is easily the best comic book live action series out right now beating out Doom Patrol, Watchmen, and The Boys. So well balanced, perfect blend of action, drama, comedy, sci-fi, and horror. Thankful this show is able to exist in the era of cancel culture. Hope the whole team survives the invasion of the butterflies

But Peacemaker has been a fun ride from the start, John Cenas as Peacemaker, Eagly, Vigilante, the butterfly storyline, the side stories with Peacemaker's Father and Brother and Amanda Waller and her daughter, have been done so well

Christopher Heyerdahl(Locke) played The Electrocutioner on Gotham. In the comics The Electrocutioner ran afoul of and was then killed by Vigilante. James Gunn is a deep cuts genius.

Christopher Heyerdahl should definitely be cast as the Joker! And Jason Bateman as Lex Luthor, the calm, calculating, "gets the job done" Luthor. See his performance in Ozark as reference. And you know him from Stargate Atlantis and Sanctuary.
