I still remember getting into Twice because of "Yes or Yes" so Fancy wa smy first comeback to experience on release and I was TWEAKING when I listened to it for the first time being so hyped with the teasers. It was the best thing to ever live up to its hype.

I would say Twice still does a lot of cutesy stuff even with 'more mature' concept ^ ^ What drove me to like the group were their great concepts for the MVs and outfits, and the joy they give while performing. (I joined Fandom around TT, knock knock..) So for example I still love Fancy, but Feel Special is not my favourite because they always look so 'serious'? performing it 😢 Thank you Flynn for the amazing editing again ❤

Speaking of Whitney.... I'd intended to post this under your "What is Love" video but just didn't get around to it: Your read of some of the movies depicted being "inappropriate" is a good read. Youngsters stumble into love immaturely, and depending on what media they consume, they may grow up with the idea that it's as simple as finding "the one," and everything works out from there. But of course, it's never that straightforward. All the depicted movies have some trait of being an unconventional or doomed love story, but only one of them has an ending that can seen as an actual "happy ending": The Princess Diaries. And how does that end? Not in a traditional romance and marriage, but the protagonist learning to love herself. And you know who produced that movie and sang the thematically-matching song "The Greatest Love of All?" That's right...Whitney.

a lot of the visuals are not about it being fancy, it's related the lyrics of the love becoming so intense that it's becoming dangerous. The rose is pretty, but Jeongyeon pricks her finger on it because love can be dangerous, but like the lyrics says she still isn't afraid. Momo also talks about love being dangerous but she says "take my hand" as she swings high, but is still clearly in control despite the danger. The paperclips are there to show that Dahyun is stuck to a magnet because she's stuck in love and the other person is pulling her towards them like a magnet (that's also why she has silver bracelets in the scene, they're magnetic and are keeping her stuck), she can't move away from them even if she wants to. Sana holds a cupcake because she's talking about the love being sweet. Nayeon is on a jewel, which is fancy yes, but she's also in front of a "tropical sunset" because of how being in love makes her feel. Tzuyu's parts talk about being the other person being "a star in the universe" which is why she's in outer space holding the planets in her hand. So most of it is references to the lyrics in some way or another

FYI, king and queen of K-pop are bts and Twice, they both are the most awarded group in any generation and win the most daesang (highest prestigious award) for bg and gg in Kpop industry. Twice also is the best selling and most successful Kpop gg of all time.

I think Twice deserves for credit for dance choreography for their song Cry Cry. Hopefully you guys can check it out eventually along this twice journey. Cry Cry doesn't have a official mv but has 2 different versions of the dance practice choreography video. Watch both and let us know which one is better in your opinion.

I think it would be fun to cover EXO on this concept :) one of the most important kpop boyband, and they have many hits as well. I'd do tempo, call me baby, monster, lucky one and growl! Was this a quieter reaction? As in, normally Eric and Aaron have a lot more to say. I got the vibe that fancy didn't grab them so much as the others so far, but I'm not sure if it's just me and i'm remembering past reactions poorly. Edit: i think it might just be me wanting different song choice and not feeling the reaction as hard. I always thought Feel Special hit harder than Fancy, and we're more than likely gonna skip it if we're jumping to I Can't Stop Me. And we've already jumped past Yes or Yes, Dance the Night Away. and Cheer Up if we're going through the chronological evolution of the group. Must be real rough trying to make everyone happy with song choice in such a limited number of reactions. I'll enjoy the next one though. I Can't Stop Me wasn't the first twice song i heard, but it was the first comeback I jumped properly dived into twice and joined the fans.

I agree that sometimes the dancers are dressed too similar to the artists. Sometimes, choreographies with dancers have them blocking the artist for the audience to enjoy. Mix that with a meh cameraman, and you have a mess ^^u
