one interesting things about the bat demons i thought was that they can't die from physical means (and presumably only from magical/mystical ones). Jen straight up smooshed one under her feet, crushed it into the ground and so much demon goo burst out of it, and the thing immediately got back up. really nice showing of the separation between two very different types of threats in the MCU

I really love the “case of the week” feel of the show. It really allows the writers to just go nuts. I mean I never really thought about how the revelation of real sorcery would pretty much ruin the “magic” industry. And I’ll take any excuse to see more of Wong, he really is (as Jen perfectly said) twitter armor. And as a man in his early 30’s I completely agree with Jen that dating in your 30’s SUCKS!!!!!! And while she may not have gotten a boyfriend at least she had sex with an infuriatingly good looking doctor. Though I’m genuinely surprised he was able to walk the next morning. He should’ve had at least a crushed pelvis, like the Amazon planet episode of Futurama, full Death By Snu Snu! Look it up.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also for people complaining that this show is nothing but filler, THAT’S THE POINT!!!! It’s Ally McBeal in the MCU, a lawyer sitcom, it has never claimed to be anything else. A public court case gets that across more than just taking the ring would. I agree with the close ups of Jen after the demon fight looking immaculate, and I think that might be partly due to the fact she's covered in goo and messy, like people have said in the past that Bruce's hulk has stubble and wrinkles and stuff to add more detail, while Jen's face is usually more smooth so it comes more uncanny valley, but with the mess, and grime and demon blood and stuff to add those more details to the motion, it looks better

A thing I really love about the She-Hulk character is that she's the first reluctant superhero character that I actually believe is truly reluctant about becoming a superhero. She is trying so hard to be seen as Jenn the lawyer because that is what she really wants out of her life. Not trying to straddle two different identities in an attempt to have the best of both worlds. I love that about her. Desperately trying to be true to herself and not the image the world is trying to superimpose on her.

I would be very okay if we get more "Madesynn and Wongers" stories. Maybe they don't end up together, but I could easily write a six episode storyline where they go traveling together like Doctor Who without a box. Wong suspects that Madesynn is involved in something that puts her and the entire multiverse in jeopardy so he decides to keep her close while he investigates. Turns out she has a "luck" superpower that she can't control, but keeps her and people she loves from harm. Also it allows her to find booze whenever she wants it. Or maybe that's just a skill and not a power. Anyway the two of them together would make a great pair.

This episode was great, especially the CGI & the action scene w/ Wong & She-Hulk. However, it did feel a bit weird for Wong to need She-Hulk's help so much tbh. Wong didn't need to sue Donny Blaze, he could've just confiscated his sling ring 8:23, & he definitely should've been able to handle the demon creatures on his own (especially as the Sorceror Surpreme) 16:52 17:44 17:48 18:24

In the comics She-Hulk and Deadpool's 4th wall breaking do tend to be treated a little different, she does tend to treat it like speaking to an audience and has a little meta knowledge in relation to that, whilst Deadpool's is generally treated in a more cosmically aware way. So I could see them not having her know Matt and Daredevil are the same person even, whilst Deadpool they could at the same time write as straight up knowing. For example maybe they do Jen knowing the audience is excited to see Daredevil, but not have her know additional info beyond that.

I feel like her acknowledging the audiences excitement at seeing DD would just be a repeat of her (twice now) saying how the audience is excited to see Wong. That joke could get repetitive very quickly and I hope they don't overuse it

I like how much more confidence Jen seemed to hv as She-Hulk when she was on her dates. Normally there's no difference between Jen & She-Hulk (especially at work/ in court), so it's interesting to see her in a situation where she seems to gain something from being in her She-Hulk form.

Okay I liked Madisynn lol I find something so charming about the most unlikely characters being friends :') A girl who lets loose and finds the "fun" in things even in a life and death situation - being friends with an uptight, formal Sorceror Supreme (she was buzzed but come on, demons would probably sober you up ASAP).
