Couple of sciencey things. 1. With spaghettification, while yes you would be stretched out but your body would snap in half repeatedly as well. 2. I don’t know if they knew this at the time but things to regularly orbit black holes, including other black holes. When a star turns into a black hole, provided it doesn’t suck anything else in when it does so, it retains the same mass so anything that’s in orbit and far enough away will stay in orbit (if any of this is wrong blame Neil deGrasse Tyson cause this is basically what he said)
@lexiburrows81272 жыл бұрын
I have no idea why anyone would 'snap repeatedly'; that is not logical - but yes, the Schwarzschild Radius is a thing which determines the radius of the Event Horizon.

Your example of Spaghettification isn't exactly accurate. You don't actually go thinner and thinner, what happens is you stretch until you tear in half, then each of those halves stretch until they tear in half, then all of those pieces, now fourths of you, stretch until they tear in half, etc and etc until your literally just your base particles entering the event horizon.

Thinking of the TARDIS as either technological or organic is applying too narrow of a paradigm. Think more along the lines of solidified mathematics, folded dimensions, and engineered concepts.
