One BG3 stream a month? It’s gonna take them decades to finish this game from what I’ve heard about how long the story is. 😂 But you know what? I’m here for it.

semi-rushed experience about 80h, would take them probably a year to finish typical 140-160h somewhat completionist, although it is impossible to complete everything in 1run, will take them 2 years perhaps, maybe a bit less. My prediction they either rush a bit, or drop after 3-4 streams

Dayman, light cleric/monk multiclass with high charisma. Cause he's a master of karate and friendship for everyone. 100% going on my character list. I adore that kick the squirrel cutscene, it's so unnecessarily brutal it becomes comedic. It's like a good renegade line or interrupt in ME, it's hard _not_ to pick it every time, regardless of what fits my current character.

A big tip guys whern it comes to combat - ranged attacks rolls has lower chance to hit its target when you are to close to it - you kept running in with shadowheart to use firebolt lowering the chance it will it the enemy. I know you guys have played D&D this should not be news to you?
@andybodle75608 ай бұрын
Also, Shadowheart's firebolt is a racial skill, and its modifier is intelligence. Her intelligence is 8! Of course she's going to miss with it. The best thing to do is respec her with Withers, but failing that, use Sacred Flame, or just give her a light crossbow, as her dex is respectable.

I am about to finish the game and i can say that i have been disappointed most with the cleric class... healing is relatively weak in this game (compared to all other healing options you have in the game). I definitely recommend Eric not play a cleric as you wont get to do a lot in a turn. The guys who get to do a lot of things tend to be the melee characters.
@nickrubin73128 ай бұрын
Healing is relatively weak in 5e in general. Killing is better than healing, that is the general idea. Cleric is either support or just main heavy caster. Also, Cleric is often misunderstood, especially by new players, as a "healer". Understandable mistake, just as the idea that you need a healer in general. Cleric is amazing as Tempest (which Eric plays) or Light, it is basically caster in heavy armor. Also, cleric owns act2 with Spirit Guardians and all that juicy radiant damage. The only healing you need is healing word and mass healing word, supported by some itemization as well. But Eric plays Tempest as fighter, so... War Domain is also interesting as well.
@chaost45448 ай бұрын
Cleric is also a bit redundant with Shadowheart being a companion. That said, Cleric should be the choice for the hireling companion from Withers because of the helpful buffs the class gives players. Buffs like Aid are extremely powerful as the players level up.
