Strangers, from strangers into brothers
From brothers into strangers once again
We saw the whole world but I couldn’t see the meaning
I couldn’t even recognize my friends
Older, but nothing’s any different
Right now feels the same I wonder why
I wish they told us, it shouldn’t take a sickness
Or airplanes falling out the sky
Do I have to die to hear you miss me
Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye
I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow
I don’t want to wait to do this one more time
One more time, one more, one more time, one more time
I miss you, took time but I admit it
It still hurts even after all these years
And I know that next time, ain’t always gonna happen
I gotta say I love you while we’re here
Do I have to die to hear you miss me
Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye
I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow
I don’t want to wait to do this one more time
One more time, one more, one more time, one more time
One more time (one more time), one more, one more time (one more time), one more time
I miss you

I Believe this hits hard for us who are older as this song and video open up ourselves and we take an honest look at our teenage selves and it hits us. That we will die and the past is gone. Those memories this video evokes shows us not just "the past" but OUR past and its gone forever but this...this is a thread to it. To find our way back to our child self and maybe we can be young and appreciate our time here just a bit more

I cried a lot too. In 2000, I changed from one high school to another and it wrecked me. I listened to Enema of the State every single day, so they literally were my only friends and it was music I could just inmerse myself without having to deal with my feelings. They really helped me get through and I am ok now, but Blink 182 will always have such a special place in my heart because they saved me that year.

This hits even harder to everyone that have listened to Blink for the last 20 years or more. They were my favorite band growing up, I owned every album and listened to them nonstop and I remember the first time the band split killed me, I just wanted them all together making more music. It felt like forever waiting for them to get back together. Finally, they did and released an album that got me through high school. And then they split again.. After all the things they've been through, from Mark's cancer, and Travis's plane crash, and everything else that must of went on in their lives behind closed doors. Tom going to chase his dreams to uncover details of UFO's (turns out he was right about a lot of stuff and is a huge reason why a lot of evidence has come out recently.) After all the things we have been through during all these years.. This time, this reunion just feels different. This song is their apology to each other, and also a way to connect to all the fans, bringing us all together. It's absolutely beautiful. I hope I get to see them live again someday.. The boys are back and we were here to experience it, One More Time. 🖤

Believe me, even as someone who has never been a huge Blink fan, the song still hits plenty hard. I don’t have a story about Blink getting me through a tough time or being there for me for 25 years or stories like that. They just weren’t that band for me. But they were always present within my musical tastes. They were adjacent to a lot of bands I DO listen to a lot more regularly. I’d be lying if I said they didn’t have some bangers. Sure, I’ve jammed to their hits. But I’ve never been a deep dive, steadfast, devoted fan. And the song still hits plenty hard. Their feuds and breakups and fallouts have been so public. They’ve given it a go with other band members, band members branched out and tried to form other projects or appeared with other bands. None of it feeling or sounding quite the same. Mark’s diagnosis was a huge story that a lot of people showed empathy and support for all across the industry and across fandoms. Travis’s plane crash was a tragic story. These guys have been ever present in the zeitgeist, whether together or separate. And now that they’re together and healthy once again, it all just feels whole and right. Like I said, even though I’m not a huge fan, the song is still such a touching and nostalgic trip down memory lane. It’s a touching tribute to themselves as a band and them as friends, as well as to all the fans who’ve supported them along the way through all of it. It’s a song that makes me feel like all is right with the world. Blink did a fantastic job with this one.

This feels much different than when they did the first reunion. This song is evidence that they really sat down and put everything on the table and had a gritty, yet beautiful moment to make things right. You can really tell that the hatchet has been buried. I think this album is going to be a testament of growth to everyone.

I've been listening to blink-182 since 98, when i was 9 years old. They have been with me through all bullshit i've been through, all the lost love, broken heart, me getting cheated on for 3 times, me losing my grandfather due to cancer, broken legs, broken fingers, broken backs, shitty jobs, shitty "friends". But also through all the happy times, the good times drinking with friends, festivals, concerts, me getting out of High School, getting my first job, finally finding my love of my life ♥️ Blink has always been that escape for me, bit also the pillar for helping me through all of that ♥️ This song broke me ♥️

This hit hard and heavy for me too. We all live the same trope, Blink has been there for us all in the good times and the bad an theyve pulled us together through it all, growing up. This hits hard to me, personally, losing my youngest brother a few years ago. Strangers into brother into strangers again. That was our relationship. Until he passed at 27. Im not crying you are

You are spot on regarding the Box Car feel. I was always hoping this album was going to have the Self-titled feel which is obviously around the time of Box Car. I love the mature sound they had on that album and I can't wait to hear some more. Within 5 minutes after hearing this song this morning, I broke out my acoustic and figured out a cover, I just HAD to do it, I had no option. What an emotional roller coaster this band has been. I saw them once without Tom on the Enema of the State anniversary tour and then again in July of this year with Tom. They were great both times, but this tour hits different. Tom is back baby!

You noticed that when Mark says I Miss You it’s a reference to that song. Tons of callbacks. You caught it. Most I’ve watched haven’t caught that! Good eye man, I can tell you’re a true fan

It's such a great song I must have listened to it at least half a dozen times on repeat yesterday. Used to listen to them all the time when I was younger, and then I had a little break for a while when I wasn't really listening to music very often, but I'm back to listen to them everyday.

I have only seen Blink once live. It was 1998, my friend and I were obsessed with Dammit and went to the a concert in Madison WI where Blink was playing (not headlining, that was Primus). After their set, we made our way to the Blink merch table and there was Tom! Nicest guy, chatted a bit, signed our tickets and expressed confusion as to why we were out there in the concourse during the middle of Primus' set (years later, yeah, Primus is awesome but young me was yet to be introduced). So glad to see them blow up, continue to make great music, and now find common ground again to reunite some 25 years later!

I am so thankful for this song, and for all their previous songs that this song reminded me of. Not only did 'One More Time' deliver its own powerful meaning, it reminded me of how powerful and relatable their older music was. Blink 182s music was like therapy, a relatable friend, an escape. I feel like I would have been lost going through some tough situations if it werent for their music...

It was when the camera lens changed for the Miss You throwback, the amount of tiny details is amazing. I loved them as a teenager and now I get to take my own teenager to his first concert of theirs. Their songs especially Adam’s Song and Linkin Park got me through some rough times

I remember being 13 or 14 years old and popping in a CD to show my little brother. It was Take Off Your Pants And Jacket. And the second Anthem Part 2 started that little dude was immediately dancing all over our room. Now I'm an old man and I still listen to that record and get to feel like that kid in me and my brother's shitty, tiny shared room. We rocked out to that album for years. Seeing them back all back together really hits me in a specific and special way, I feel like that kid again listening to these songs. I'm so excited for their album.

I got pretty emotional on a personal level hearing the line "do I have to die to hear you miss me?", because of my contact with my dad which has been none existance since almost 10 years ago. When I had a stroke almost 7 years ago he did not wanna visit me at the hospital even tho they didnt know if I would survive it or not. So yeah got really emotional on a personal level.

Seen so many reactions to this song and you are the only one calling out the songs and albums in the background. So awesome to see an actual fan react to this stuff. The lyrics broke me… so accurate about obviously them but about all of us as we get older… been listening to them for over 20 years now… wild.
