This song was written about them, but also about all of us. It applies to all of us in some way. Its the beauty of this song.

I became homeless a month ago. Still working thankfully. I've been wasting my money staying at this hotel. When this song hit. It hit me so hard. I've been a huge blink fan since early 2000s. I understand it's about the bands journey but this song resonates with all of us in a personal level. The chorus lines resonate so much for me and yeah it hurts. Really bad. I sent this song to a few friends I grew up with and we haven't talked in years. This song brought us together. The love that we thought was forgotten is still alive and well

They held grudges for so long... Until one got diagnosed with cancer. Then all of that bullshit got put aside with one phone call that said I love you. It's a reminder to tell and show the people you love that you love them. Today. Because next time ain't always gonna happen. Gotta tell em that you love them while we're here. absolutely beautiful

This song can touch so many people on so many different levels that I’m very glad they wrote it and sing it because I know it’s speaking of their membership as a band and how they broke up and come back together and Travis was in a plane crash, so this has a lot of meaning all the way around

Blink make ballads for grown men of the type that are strong everyday, but would build a tree house and then kinda tear up in it. That’s why I relate 🥲 For real brother, I saw your thumbnail, your vet background in the title and your face…I clicked instantly and you got a like and sub even though I didn’t know how the reaction would be. I’m a kindergarten teacher in Europe with an injury that cost me my job and some physical abilities, couldn’t be more away from your world, but I feel you, send you love and hope you’re ok, brother. ❤

I grew up with these guys. I was introduced to them through their chesire cat album in middle school, a friend of mine had a copy. I was instantly hooked and haven't stopped listening to them ever since. I'm 33 now. They're personal heroes of mine and I couldn't imagine a world without them. And as for you: I believe whatever one's political leaning is, everyone should acknowledge and respect the sacrifices HEROES like you have made for us. I cannot fathom the pain you've endured or the things you and your fellow warriors have seen, but from the deepest parts of my being-I thank you. If no one has told you lately, you're amazing and beautiful. I appreciate you sir. Once again, thank you for your service.

we relate to this song because we all have those friendships where we were close as brothers or sisters and eventually for whatever reason we grew apart from each other … don’t wait one more day to rekindle those friendships because you never know that one day could be your last , and we don’t want that day to be the time that we say goodbye or that we miss you or say that we love you … Mark Travis and Tom have realised this and we all relate to their story

Super grateful for this reaction, as this resonates the closest with me. I signed up with the Marines after 9/11 happened, and this band got me through high school and the war. What you said about complacency is so freaking true man; while I understand we all have our lives to live, it’s so hard reaching out and finding out who is still around, and who had left us. I hate that I’ve lost touch with so many of my brothers & sisters in the service, but I also can’t seem to bring myself to tell them I loved them all-in fears I’m already too late. At least in my mind, they all will live forever. You’ve articulated the feelings better than I could, and I hope you and your network are thriving well brother. Semper Fi

I was in the Navy when I fell in love with this band listening to Feeling This on the radio, while tweeking government radios. I marveled at their ability to capture my musical heart after I long decided they were annoying and not worth my time. I couldn't stop listening to them, bought cd's and dvd's, researching their bio online, and looked up their next tour, which was all in Europe and I was in California. I contemplated buying a plane ticket and seeing them live, then realized how silly it would be to make a move like that being a fan for about a month or so, when I could easily wait until they came back to San Diego, Duh! 6 months later, no local tour dates, however an announcement from MTV of their indefinite hiatus! WHUTTTTTT?!?!?!?! I cannot deny the regret I felt for not getting those plane tickets. I still can't justify buying those tickets with where I was at that time. It didn't stop me from being a fan since. I was just often feeling how much I missed out on by not exploring their music earlier, mostly. Regardless of that feeling, they are my favorite band. Over the last couple of years, I put this band in my past as I mature in life, blink-182 said: Nuh-uhh Tracie! We got One More Time I said back: Dammit! Always. Feeling This

I think watching the whole video at once and diving into your feelings all at once while you experienced the entire song would be a better format and might make you see the entire picture more. This poetically encapsulates how Tom remembered Travis’ plane crash, and realized Mark had cancer, he needed to return to the band because he couldn’t risk losing another day making music with his brothers. Because life can be gone with the snap of a finger. And that regret and remorse you’d feel over not reconnecting over petty stuff - yeah. Does it mean this is their Swan Song and won’t make music after this album drops? That’s for the band to decide. But it’s definitely a beautifully crafted song about family and fear of losing them.
