You won't be disappointed with those Neil, we've got 3 at home here, & they've been really good. You're right about the batteries, ours last at most a year, obviously depends on what the camera picks up & how often. 👍

A year battery life would be remarkable, guess it all depends on how much activity they have.

@@CampsiteWarden Yes we have tried to blank out high traffic areas around our home, we are in a maisonette so they are high up out of reach & complement our Motorhome security.

With regard to "Wildlife" we had really torrential rain last Sunday with Thunder/ lightening, we saw the cat from a property opposite come tearing along & literally do a handbrake turn into their property. Could be on our usb stick, if so I'll upload it 😁

Yes we have had them for about 2 years now great for keeping an eye on pets and even talking to them when they are misbehaved

I'm going to get them Neil. After Xmas . I have CCTV cameras but the cables are awful to deal with. Thank you Neil for that.

I have wired CCTV at home it does the job, but these are so portable and easy to set up, and you can add on going forward. If I spot a big discount again I shall post it up straight away.

Hi Neil, great video. Sadly someone attempted to break into our new caravan last week. We have a seasonal pitch, disconnect the mains cable when leaving site, so power sockets etc are dead. My question is can I connect a battery powered blink camera to my mobile without USB or power and how. And is there a connectable battery pack for longer life ? Keep up the great videos

That's dreadful to hear. The blink will need to connect to WiFi signal you can get a cheap mifi box, then the sync module will need power so a small power bank would work. The actual camera's have batteries

Thank you for your very helpful video. I have a blink camera, which I love and have it on a windowsill looking towards my front door. I am hiring a mobile home and taking a puppy on a weekend trip. Can I take the camera away in the mobile home, leaving the wifi bit plugged in at home - does it work at a long distance while we are away in the mobile home, with the blink camera in the mobile home away with us? Thanks

Bizar, remove the plastic protection before use.

It was just a demo, once out of the box, the cameras are fixed in place the protective film will be removed.
