I bought my first when blink was blink, free storage for me😁 12 cams on two sync mods, 7 outdoor and 5 indoor. You can't get near my house without me knowing it....LOL Awesome system!

I have the Outdoor Blink system with four cameras viewing various aspects of outside our home. It took a bit of thought and work, but I managed to get all four hooked to outlet power and they only use the batteries as a back-up source. So far it is working well this way and I feel more confident having a consistent power source.

Great video Doc. After having trouble with my Arlo cameras and their severe lack of service I have decided to switch camera systems. After researching Blink I came across your video. 👍👍 thanks brotha I’ll pick up my new cameras tomorrow.

Hi Doc, I don't have any outdoor camera's; but I like your honest reviews and updates. If I were to get an outdoor camera system, I think the Blink system would be my first choice! I much appreciate all your video's content, your time and effort to put this information together for your How to with Doc fellows! thx, tww

I use the Energizer Lithium and I have to change my batteries every 2-3 months on my driveway cam. Battery life all depends upon usage.

Cold Doc - eats these batteries like crazy. Here in MN we vary from -50 to 105 during the year and we replace the batteries 2 x in the winter and once in the spring. Good system on the cheap 😎

I have 2 of them outside, one 3 years old, the other 2 years old. I think most people set up the arming schedule, record sensitivity, and activity zones too aggressively. So they are constantly recording, not what battery powered cameras are designed for. Mine record 4 times per day on average when I take my dogs out early and late so I only use mine for night time. Separate hardwired cameras run all day long loop recording.

Just finished watching your verticutting video from last week. We never got a definitive choice. Which would you choose to use? I keep my Bermuda about 1 1/2- 2 inches tall.

Put my Blink cameras up in June of 2020. Still going strong. Have not changed batteries yet. System is good, but may not fit everyone's requirements. The ability to add more power storage to enable longer video clips would be ideal.

My one camera shows low battery less than 24 hours after I replace the batteries! It's about 2 years old almost but it doesn't seem to matter how I set the settings to save on the battery life, the batteries drain FAST. I replaced them yesterday, did 4 live views for less than 30 seconds each and it's showing the batteries need replaced AGAIN. UGH! There were literally zero alerts of any movement/activity. :-( Wish there was a support number to call.

Hey Doc, I’ve watched two of your videos where you talked about covers for your Blink outdoors system. They’re silicone, but you never said who makes them and where they can be purchased. Would you please give me that info. Thanks big guy!
@markrush50133 жыл бұрын
my Blink cameras are on the same batteries for 21 months...maximum battery life is achieved by turning them off when you dont need them and eliminating anything like shrubs or flags that can trigger them constantly with their movement. also keep settings at a level so youre not burning up battery life.

Do the covers you recommend also fit the newest version outdoor cam or only the X and XT 2 earlier camera versions?

Unbelievable! The Amazon delivery guy! What a jerk! Hopefully you sent that video to them and he was reprimanded! That’s ridiculous Thanks for the video! Love the Blink system and purchased after your 1st blink review video in 2019

It may be like the battery life on my Apple Watch. If it isn't lasting, check your settings and disable as much stuff as you that you can that is sucking up battery life.
