The staple-headed, body cut to ribbons octopus was some demented improvisation. I really enjoyed that.

This is pure genius!! But as an American, I'm struck by how many different accents there are in the group. England is smaller than US but it seems like every 20 miles there's a different accent. It's crazy.

the UK has been populated for thousands of years, and up until the industrial revolution people basically lived and died in the cities/regions they lived in, so the various dialects and accents had plenty of time to develop in isolation from one another for the most part (not to mention the fact that there used to be dozens of separate kingdoms and the like between gb and ireland, or the series of invasions and conquests throughout the centuries that affected certain areas more than others.) as for the US, trains were invented only 30 years after the american revolution, so people were intermingling a lot more in a much quicker span of time here. there are definitely a ton of accents here though, i'd just give it a few hundred more years before we start comparing the two

That’s England. Each big city has a bunch of different accents within it too. I’m from Birmingham, when I was last working there there were 10 people in my tram all had different accents, I could identify as 8 different areas of Birmingham and 2 from out of town..

Britain isn’t just London just like the states we have regional accents plus the uk is made up of 4 countries so it’s not too hard to believe there would be a vary of accents

In England we have many types of accents and dialects not just the cliche "ello govener" accent I mean in America you have many accents not just the cliche "howdy partner" even when I loved in Spain the Spaniards have many different types of Spanish accents
