Haunting red eyes, razor-sharp claws, and the speed of a demon. They are Blinks. Blinks are a mutant species populating Zarkov after the catastrophic nuclear event that preceded the start of the game. It is unknown what they were before the incident or if they were even on the planet. Their goals and purpose are a mystery but either way, they hate humans. And you my comrade are a human. So what do you do when these speed demons catch a whiff of your innocent flesh and decide to run you down? Because make no mistake, they will… run you down. Well, I’m here to give you a quick guide on dealing with these monstrosities, enabling you to save your sweet, sweet loot.

Blink: thump thump thump thump thump Player: Rapid fire, spraying bullets everywhere... except in the blink, magazine emptied, Blink: swipe swipe. Player: Gasp, choking on blood. On the other hand. Blink steaks are the best! 😘 Also, ever fought a glitched Blink? I have. I hope the devs thought of this in the 0.30 update.

After the new update, testing the POV fog, these things were not so EASY at all. They just appear out of nowhere out of my sight and I keep panicking and couldn't hit them with my shaky aim.

I've dealt with these before the FOV fog and they are still no different: 1.Get a shotgun. I suck at aiming at close range. I usually go for Sniper rifle and using stealth and long range but when shit hits the fan and you need a close range option the Shotgun is the true king of CQB. It doesn't discriminate, it only penetrates so dodge however you want, you will still get hit. 2.Position yourself accordingly. Be wary of open spaces. If you're in a closed area and there's an intersection ahead that is ripe for ambush, fire a round, force the idiots to go to a place they cannot dodge. Let them come to a place where you have the advantage and not the other way around. Spamming shotgun on a tunnel that only has one direction is a guaranteed way of getting braindead kills.

@@Quadrolithium I did all this in reverse. 1. After i finished the mission of finding materials; (I was trying to save ammo by using pistols) It didn't end well for me. 2. I was just doing the same walks like i was in the forest, no cover, just wandering around loose and i got mauled by them when they suddenly appear behind me.

@@assaulthetz here's what I learned in Tarkov, there's a Chad, a Rat, and there's an Idiot and anyone can be an idiot, be it a Rat or a Chad. I myself camped an exfil as a Rat and stole an entire Chad's equipment, weapon, armor, and backpack, all because the idiot did not check the corners for a surprise grenade + shotgun combo. Just because you're doing a rat run doesn't mean you gamble all of your safety for gains. If you cannot handle going full cheap, then equip yourself accordingly. Can't win with pistols? Get a shotty. Might slice your profits but in the long term it's worth it.

You think it's safe, you start looting something. That's when you hear the rapid approach of a blink. They do come out of the FoW at a full run and your only hope is that you're positioned correctly when the inventory screen closes.

@@randallporter1404 looting is never safe until you cleared like 4 screens worth around the looting spot.

Actually easy to kill, they still get me sometime when going through the mall entrance and there are just 3 of em slapping me right away

Gotta wonder though, I was trying to buy a Chimera from them and was doing all their missions but that one. Finished the Makeshift Camp and Swamp missions and they still won't sell it!?!?!?

@@randallporter1404 no, you just need to get to the required lvl, which is shown in the shop, and you dont need to commit igor to get it
