The neon lights in all directions, contrasted by the dark hues of the buildings themselves and the shadows they cast. It was cold. It was violent. It was home.*

Years ago when younger and with a more adventurous nature, I’d often have a night out and then walk home alone in the early hours , taking a longer route through the more rundown areas of my town, often in the early hours and often in the cold morning rain. Heading home as the world slept and every alley and corner held shadows and decay. Like only I was the only one witnessing this, I was young, tired and reflective of mind. This music brings it all back and for a while I’m back there again , and for a brief time have need to experience and recapture that feeling , if only for the shortest of moments when I was very much a different man,and the world held such potential and hope.

Years ago, I got back from a rock concert late at night and found that the rail line has stopped running and.. I was going to write about a sort of adventure I had, riding my bike back home through unfamiliar darkened and endless avenues, feeling my way by occasional streetlights and radio towers on a series of hills. Kind of a mystical experience.. shall I write it here? Is it appropriate and fitting for this context? If you guys indicate that it is, I will do my best to tell the story.

I personally love that the rain is the dominant feature as rain has always been a source of peace, meditation, or focus for humankind. The music is secondary as it isn’t the source of clam, instead it is the creative product manufactured from the moment of peace.

Amazing again! These past two have gone into my focus playlist. Do you upload to spotify? I definitely wanna continue to emphasize that deep, heavy bass is really important for these. Also, I would add more effects or increase the wetness of the current effects on the vocal samples - really cool touch but they're a bit too clear imo which made it a little distracting. I've only heard that at around ~8 minutes in so maybe that is not prevalent throughout the entire track. I don't know how you choose the length, but 4 hours is great. I get annoyed when people make these too short 😄 Keep it up!!

Thank you again for your detailed feedback and good advice. I'm very happy that you like the new video so much that you added it to your playlist. I had already addressed the issue of more deep bass. At least to some extent. It's all a tough learning process for me because I haven't been doing this for long. The vocals are significantly more present in my first video and I have turned them down enough so that they are not too easy to understand. Even though you probably won't like the bass level, I'd be interested to know how you classify the vocals... if you like. 😂 May I ask what device you used to listen? In the mastering process, I try to take all device classes into account as much as possible and, for example, I want to avoid loud frequencies on larger speakers at all costs.

@@cyberlopod The bass is fine in this one! You're doing great. I am a bit of a bass head so sure, I will lean on the side of wanting more, but what you have here is good. I just don't want that importance to be lost. Not insinuating that will be the case, just staying in your ear about it :). I am repeatedly emphasizing it because as I'm searching for creators to scratch the itch of this sound, so many miss the mark on the lower frequencies. It's not necessarily the volume of the vocals, it's the clarity. They are just a bit too clear such that they grab my attention - lowering the volume could help with that, but imo they mostly need washed out with a bit more distortion, reverb, and delay. They don't stick out like a sore thumb or anything... I just have a picky ear if you haven't been able to tell yet lol I listen at work on Bose QC 45s. These are not flat and I've actually pushed the eq to be even brighter and bassier than they are out of the box. You are right to be hesitant about overdoing it for larger speakers. Do you have access to a subwoofer 10+ inches that you are able to test on?

@ vocals: yeah i added some reverb but at one level it seems to be too much. Distortion could be interesting. I'll try that. @ speakers: I have several active 10" subwoofers in range. One under my desk, the others are part of my 7.2 setup. I don't know your Bose headphones, I use the HD-25 from Sennheiser for all my work (editing, video production and since a month this channel). Still deep diving into my new software synthesizer to craft some new also deep sounds...👋😉

Really excited for this channel, like I said there’s definitely a few good cyber sound channels out there but this one really hits the spot for me. I like the atmosphere very much and that the rain does not always stays in front of the whole soundscapes ... sometimes it is cool and chilling with this rain, but may I ask you to consider to compile also such a kind of music without rain at all? or very little/not always? ... Thank you very much for your great feedback and request. Variants of music without the rain are an interesting approach. But I'm very sure that simply turning off the audio tracks won't do it. The music will sound too thin and flat at times. Here I would expand the sound accordingly so that everything meets my requirements as before. However, I am currently rather critical about uploading the nearly same content twice on KZbin. Maybe this is more suitable for Spotify in the future. I'm just at the beginning and the last few weeks have been pretty wild to say the least. So, thank you again; I take this seriously.
