Funny thing is, so many retcons in ppg could easily be fixed by 1 character that everyone in the show keeps forgetting, ignoring or just plain has no idea about what he.. or she can do. I'm talking about HIM. HIM can do unlimited amounts of unthinkable things, one being the ability to manipulate and distort victim's minds. This means you can have any character backstory, retcon it and say: HIM altered their mind to place the powerpuff girls there, or twisted the truth so he'd be evil. Why? Well the original show answered that in that creepy episode: He gets empowered by negative feelings. So HIM can fix any retcon and have a motive behind it; without any kind of effort. But for some reason they creators of this show just don't have the ability to have HIM cameo even once at all!

Bliss was just sold on being 'brown' and that's it, which explains why there were so many constant struggles to do anything interesting with her at all. The only aspect that the crew of this reboot wanted people to notice about her is that she could be Black, could be anything that isn't White, making her one of the most egregious examples of race baiting in animation, which isn't helped when you consider that a nice hunk of the crew of this show is White anyway.

What you mentioned about Bliss being the one who destroyed Silico's house in the backstory would even make it kinda cool that this is the last episode for both characters, as his anger would be towards Bliss' actions and he'd be the victim of a mistake made during her childhood that she never truly reconciled. jordy It’s a sauce that came from a fruit mixed with a variety of other things like spices. Either way it taste different from a normal tomato, just like how a normal grape will taste different compared to any wine made with it. Pineapple, on the other apple, are just slice and put on top. Likely cooked with the pizza as well, but it has about a similar taste to how a pineapple should taste, maybe not identical, but very similar. It is possible they can mix stuff on pineapple, but if it taste like a pineapple then it is still a pineapple. So no, tomato sauce, and the pineapple topping are entirely different classes and you cannot say they are the same.

This conclusion to Bliss and Silico’s characters makes me so mad that I’m just gonna write my OWN version of Bliss and Silico’s backstories here! I image Bliss and Silico being around the same age, early-twenties. Bliss is the OG powerpuff girl and she fights crime regularly and singlehandedly, one time during a monster fight, she’s sent flying into a house, and it’s Silico’s house! Silico is very badly injured, losing an arm and a leg (I just think it’d be cool if he had prosthetic limbs) and Bliss realizes that she ends up hurting people whenever she tries to help, and because she doesn’t have any sisters to reassure her that it’s not her fault, this is the catalyst that makes her run away from Townsville. Silico grows up spiteful and revenge-seeking due to becoming homeless and barely getting by thanks to The Powerpuff girls. Silico learns via the news that the Powerpuff girls are back and there’s more of them, and that means more citizen casualties from destroyed buildings. Silico becomes a villain, and later on, Bliss is found again and returns to stay with her father and her new sisters. A showdown between Bliss and Silico would’ve been really cool, and it’d be extra nice if they get to talk it out later. Now THAT would be cool and interesting, but nah, we got this.

Back when Season 3 episodes were still being released, I was originally predicting that the series finale was involve both Bliss and Silico. I was half-right because Silico's last episode does involve Bliss though it was a normal episode in the middle of Season 3 instead of a finale special.

Ok this episode is GREAT!! I’d say this is my favorite episode of the season. I love that they brought back Silico’s cliffhanger from Trouble with Bubbles yet still found a way to mislead us and make the twist more interesting. I don’t know why CN promoted it as Bliss being brainwashed back during a sneak peek but maybe it was like that fake image leak of Old Man McGuckett writing the journals from Gravity Falls in the sense that the fans would’ve already solved the mystery before the big reveal and that was to mislead them and also save the surprise factor for when the time came. (Look I’ve been binge watching Gravity Falls it’s on my mind a lot 😅). And it keeps up with its continuity for once!! Also the Bugly things kinda unnerved me from the start I could already sense they would be suspicious but maybe that’s an irrational fear that I have IRL. Normally I would call everyone stupid for immediately buying it but this time I think it’s an accurate depiction of how people are with easy technology today. Your analysis of the impact the device would have is kind of off. It would create a post-scarcity society. The economy would no longer need to exist. Indeed, for lack of scarcity the economy has no reason to exist at all other than what services the device can't perform. This would be objectively good for many. It wouldn't be a destructive force so long as it doesn't find its way into the hands of those who intend harm. Would definitely turn the power structure on its head though. Worst case scenario is short term it creates conflict between the entrenched powers-that-be and the people who now have infinite resources. The Wall-E conclusion is more likely.

I don't mind pineapples on pizza, but cheese and pepperoni is my favorite. While I feel like I'm repeating myself, I agree that Silico and Bliss being arch enemies would've made a hell of a story arc and improved both characters. Also, Bubbles trapping Silico in a illusion where he thinks he's won reminds me of Superman: For The Man Who Has Everything. Maybe that was an homage? Either way, I agree with Buttercup. It's impressive *and* terrifying.
