That shouldn't make you a terrible player. Good players are good everywhere they play. Young is not only short but tiny. Not good. His arm is weak. not good. He can't read and NFL. Not good. Watching him you see he struggle to see over NFL OL. Not good. He should never have been drafted number one even if he was the only player in the whole draft. Years ago, guys like this never got drafted because short weak armed QB fail. At least Murray has an average NFL arm and can run. But he's not been all that good overall. Young does nothing special you could build on. You can't call him a bust because he was never going to be good as an NFL anyway. None of his college traits were NFL traits. How he got drafted number is insane. I guess no one watched his college film because the signs were there. The Panthers traded up to get him. Wow. There were 100 colleges players they could have picked they were going to be better than him. Shroud could have been a failure but at least he had an NFL arm and size, so he was going to be better just because of that.

@CaseyLynn-i7u You're forgetting that Young went to the worst front office in football. Bryce does deserve criticism but David Tepper is the worst owner in football. His decisions along with Scott Fitterer's share much of the blame in hindering his development.

A Steinbrenner-ish owner who keeps spinning the coaching carousel, has the impulse control of a coked-up toddler, and rules by fear. No supporting cast on EITHER side of the ball. Joe Montana would've been a bust in this scenario. And...when you have no success, no support, and no consistency, your confidence gets destroyed and you play even worse. It's not his fault. He was put in an impossible situation, barely out of his fucking TEENS, after dominating at every level. Kid never stood a chance.

Bryce Young is not the problem. It's the Carolina Panthers' owner, it's their Offensive line, their lack of a running game, and their lack of defense. Had he gone to a better team, I bet his stats would be better and he'd have a better ranking among the rookie QBs. But that's just my thoughts.

In 2023, yes I agree with all. 2024, I agree with Owner and Defence and slightly with receivers but not on oline. The panthers oline has been a top 10 line this year and protected Bryce great in his games this year. The run game has also became a lot better because of the line as well. The receiving corps whilst not great, are also full of promising rookies e.g Legette, Coker and TE Sanders

I think it's too soon to call his career when he finally got stability and confidence to lead a game winning drive against the Saints last week with deep throws down the field instead of the safe checkdowns he's clung to the last year. He has rookie support in Legette and Coker to throw to as well that help him now instead of just Thielen.

I don’t know how bad Bryce is. Some weeks he looks like the worst first overall pick in 15 years. Other games he looks thoroughly average. He’s on a bad team, but is worse than last year with a better coach and better talent around him. He has clear limitations in his game, but obvious elite mental traits. He’s in an impossible situation, where the panthers are too bad for him to develop properly and we don’t know if he’s actually capable of overcoming his physical limitations.

0:42 He didn’t play all 4 years at Mater Dei. His first two years were at Cathedral in Los Angeles. This is only important because Cathedral had a relatively light schedule until the playoffs where he got exposed. He was still a great kid and player, but unfortunately his family protected him from any real tribulation in his career. If he stayed at Cathedral and lead them to a championship with much more inferior talent it may have made him a bit more ready to thrive in an uncomfortable environment. Instead he transferred to Mater Dei where he was surrounded by talent and lead by one of the greatest high school coaches of all time. He then went to Alabama where he was surrounded by talent and lead by the greatest college coach of all time. This gave him and those evaluating him a false impression it was HIM not the people around him. But now we all see. Unless you’re gonna hire Bill Belichick and surround him with elite talent, he will continue to be a bust.

I would definitely trade him right now. Some desperate team will mortgage their future for him as is. You can get back almost everything you've spent on him. He's a bust. It doesn't take forever to develop if the player was truly great.

He’s not bad. He can do good but he doesn’t have a good o line nor good offensive players

Typically I love ur vids but this shit kinda sucked homie 1. Better help sponsor ???? Bro fr? 2. Bryce young in the last 3 games has been doing great for the team he’s on , looking at stats is exactly why this take is garbage he had a dime ripped out of Xavier’s hands that counted for a unfair int and he did just fine against a great broncos defense , you have to WATCH the games when it comes to these struggling teams just today he had a td called back from a poor lineman’s penalty the support for Bryce is at an all time high rn and it feels like this was made for views rather then a educated take man , I really do Expect better
