l lived in Mammoth in the early 70's and one winter it seemed like it snowed every day all winter long and into the spring. Big pain in the ass when the upstairs patio door is the front door.

If Texas EVER gets snow like this It will CLOSE. People here are horrible drivers and this would cause Hundreds of Accidents.

Ray Hayes New York has lots of public transpo but in Cali while we have some it is not much. In Cali you need a vehicle unless you have some odd chance you have a home and workplace on a buss route and work the right hours and do not plan on going where you want. I have a daily driver and a 4x4 long travel prerunner.

Ray Hayes Well Cali is the heart of Baja and desert racing but I live at the beach. I did a lot of work plating and gusseting upgrading gears, axles, rebuild a transfer case and install a Monster Trans etc. Shops doing that suspention building level are race shops not Dick Cepek and cost a lot for the extras. Those Rapters are great trucks off the lot. There are some things best to desert proof them but not big ones. They come with nice shocks too. Fox I think? I put some Kings on mine and am amazed at what it can do. I have had off road trucks for ever but not with this style/level of dampening. My sis lives in Colorado around the Rockys.

brianbirc To be fair everybody is the worst driver,you got those who text selfie the driver who driving pass people over the speed limit,you have the people who cut you off for no reason,road rage ect .
