I always loved Lost Vikings 1 and 2. You can still play real WOW just use a private server (there are many) on version 1.6 literally just change a text file and alter the url. That’s one way you can actually get back at blizz and enjoy truly original Wow

All of these arguments fall completely apart, when you compare Blizzard, to Activision Blizzard. They are not the same company, they are not the same developers, and they are not the same owners. Everyone who was at Blizzard, has left Blizzard a long time ago. The entire purpose of Activision Blizzard, is to churn out products using the Blizzard name. That's it. That's all it is. You cannot compare Blizzard to Activision Blizzard any more than you can compare an apple to a hamburger.

they made games for gamers specifically. anyone who likes their games is not a casual player. then they went and pissed off the fans and still managed to not interest the people who already werent interested. D2 and vanilla WoW were amazing at the time. If a formula works. it just works. just make new areas. stories and graphics. this is what happens when everyone has nothing to do and has to justify not being laid off. they just tweak things until its dumb. bethesda has the same problem in a slightly different way. also thats why nintendo and from software always hit an award, they just do the same thing again but better or minor twists. I quit WoW when i dindnt know how to play my own character anymore and I tried to learn and decided I didnt even like it.

He was wrong at 21:50 cuz what people wanted was not the game from the past but a game that does well, has good content and is not ruined by pointless expansions. You see, if you play an MMORPG since it got released and you play it for 5 years, in the meantime you get 3 addons that tripple the time you need to play and someone new joins, he is forced to go trough all of that at once meanwhile when you started, the game was simple and had just enough content for you to go trough it so you could master your PVP skills and dungeons and raids and so on... That means people that come late are usually left alone, nobody wants to play with them cuz they have no reputation for raids and dungeons and they get kicked out of every team they join cuz of no experience but you had the experience since your first try when the game was released and instead of bagging those players, you just kick them cuz you want some item that has 0.01% drop rate on raid completion and you dont want one or multiple dudes to mess up your raid and lose time... Which means, going back to classic was a necessity and people went there like crazy cuz there they could teach others to do stuff, new players could enjoy the game and so on... I played WoW aswell and I quit the game 1 month after Mist of Pandaria release... Then I came back around 2021 and the game was such a huge mess, so much stuff has changed and you were forced to have addons installed to even play the game properly... Complete insanity... So he was wrong, we did think we want that cuz we needed that... Its a shame that the company is now dead... Also there was one point missing in the video about Overwatch, the game had over 20 million monthly logins which was counted on unique computers, not that you logged on 3 times a day but it counted your login once per month if you even started the game for 1 minute... 20 million active users is a great number and their defence on Overwatch 2 release, making it overmonetized free to play game was "Overwatch made no money" but the game made 800 million in sales only and with loot boxes and sponsored events it most definitely made close to 1.8 billion since release up until 2018... Cuz I spent over 300 bucks on OWL skins, I purchased most of the Overwatch stuff and I even spent close to 100 bucks on lootboxes themselves and had 3 active accounts. 1 DPS, 1 Tank and 1 Support where high majority of the time I played on Tank account and had over 3000 hours there on D.Va, meanwhile support had few hundered and DPS had not even hundered hours... I already quit the game, I aint coming back to Blizzard games or atleast not until Microsoft rebuilds the company from ground up...

didnt know much about Blizzard til i bought Diablo IV at full price. seeing as how the prior games were highly reputable, super popular, and had a "cult classic"-esq following, i was super pumped to get involved in this game and play with a few friends... well, come the present time, i now regret paying for this game at full price and its just so disappointing to see such a blatant money grab as Diablo IV. all of its flaws i blamed on it just being "early game" and they'd be fixed as seasons come, but no, they never got fixed and in fact, got worse. disappointing.
