@@christian-loock Actually determining which mob is affected by them and which isn't is going to have to be answered by a buff, or a plater setting. It would be different if there were set types of mobs, and maybe they just a rename, and were dispersed differently between all the dungeons. That would make it a lot more simple. However, each dungeon gets their own mobs, their own elites, and their own spells, casts and so on. The simplicity of the "passive affixes" I have no problem with, but the 4 +7 affixes are some of the most cognitive attentive affixes they have. Id would match rather track Incorps, and afflicted, hell even put up with spitefuls. Then ever have to do raging, bolster, bursting, or sanguine EVER again. Quazii WoW's video is absolutely fantastic take on why these affixes are bad, why +7 new bucket is horrible, and what are some solutions they could do to keep season one TWW from being quite possibly the worst season of MPlus ever.

I dont know why people want to hate these affixes so much, because they do everything blizzard wants to do. It's mindboggling to me why this is so hard to get.

I don't want an affix that makes me feel "what bullshit do I have to deal with this week?" or "F*** that.... I'll just skip M+ this week" I want one negative affix and one positive one that makes me think "oh nice! this week is the constant bloodlust week!" or "oh nice, this week we get random MOP remix style passive stuff!"

​​@@lucakrughow are the +2s going nowadays brother? Why does infinitely scaling content have to be further complicated by some arbitrary stuff at the first place? How is pressing a dispell/cc once in a while or losing 5 minutes to sanguine healing difficult? It is not difficult in the slightest, it's just dumb annoying stuff you have to deal with. It is neither difficult, nor engaging to move mobs out of sanguine or to press mass soothe as evoker. You never ever see anyone be like shit guys did you just see that typhoon I did that prevented this mob from afk bathing in sanguine. In fact what you see is this current sanguine week having 0.1% cutoff raised by a whopping 7 points, which means 0 people want to play sanguine. These +7 affixes are just a major annoyance, so will be the half of +4 affixes, then based on tuning there will be 1 push week and 3 sleep weeks. The difficulty of m+ comes from infinite scaling, not from having to remove sticks from your wheels.

Its the same garbage like covenants in shadowlands. Blizzard wants you to pick the covenant you like the most but everyone is picking meta and hates it. The bonus damage with these new affixes is not necessary to complete dungeons for 99% of players, but you know how it will go. Some players in 20+ keys will only take meta specs for the week and somehow on a +6 they request 2 arcane mages and a boomkin. So when i play a off meta speccs like mm hunter/ feral and so on, I get a slight advantage in 1 week and in the next 3 weeks I get even less invites then now. After so many expansions how can Blizzard still be so clueless about the psyche of theyr players.

Thorned seems like, uhm, very counter intuitive to big AoE pulls, since you'll have A LOT of mobs all reflecting massive amounts of dmg back onto you.

Unfortunately, the community is going to see these affixes and not invite 90% of the classes/speccs in the game because the affixes aren't beneficial to them. Arcane damage week? cool only inviting arcane mages, boomkins and DHs that week. Sweet, guess im not playing M+ this week as a warlock

Super simple, 2 of them the auto attack/physical damage mobs will be giga buffed/ other 2 caster mobs delete you with casts that insta finish with haste or delete you with damage.

The +4 affixes are clearly the result of a directive to "incentivise" players to play specs / hero builds beyond the cookie cutter one in guides. Yet the benefit is not large enough to push people into playing something that they (a) may not enjoy the playstyle and (b) is not as intuitive to play increasing cognitive load.

Personally if I zone into a key as a dps and I know for fact it is impossible for me to complete for top damage (if I want to) it is far less fun and if the top guy is getting a handy cap that would feel even worse. Just balance damage better and bring down the utility both required in keys and on each class to close the gap on the haves and have nots.

This reaction was literally perfect and should be played at the next developers meeting. If someone as knowledgeable and experienced at the game as Naguura can't fully understand the new affixes, then how the fuck does Blizzard expect a new player to understand them. How is a new player going to figure out which mobs have mana and which ones Don't without you guessed it - adding additional info (clutter) to the name plates. One thing Naguura didn't touch on either is how these affixes stack. Yes +30% haste to all casters is a fucking awful idea - but hey it gets better. Let's now pair that with Raging so the mobs spam casting are also now unable to be CC'd. Or those mobs that deal 20% extra magic damage, yeah let's just give those a few stacks of Bolstering. The new affixes are extremely lazy at best and just absolutely tone deaf. It's like they've given zero thought to how they will interact with the +7 affixes, zero thought into how they will interact with some classes (havoc dh) and all that for one week I get 10% frost damage extra on some mobs. And then the cherry on top.. They remove all of the affixes people Like the most because they require the least amount of interaction and allow us to focus on playing the dungeon like their design goal states. But we're left with Sanguine, Raging and Bolstering which statistically show the lowest play rates because of how much people despise dealing with them. How tone deaf can you be to what the community wants when the data is staring you in the face. Less people play during those 3 weeks because they are shit affixes and we want them gone. Absolutely mind blowing how blizz looked like they had turned a corner and then turn up with this shit for probably their most anticipated expansion launch in years after doing a god job with dragonflight in terms of healing the game and rebuilding trust

I way I read this is like: If it's a Focused week and there is a TOTAL of 50 casters in a run, MAYBE somewhere around 25-35 (Hopefully less lol) casters will have increased haste. But obviously not all 50 casters will be buffed.

Notice how they keep punishing Tanks/Healers with these affixes even more. Instead of getting rid of the +7 bucket affixes. Not to mention we also have to deal with Fort/Tyrannical is just the cherry on top.

The Fort, Reckless, Raging week gonna be a blast for tanks. the damage amps with bolstering some mobs will die even quicker. this affixes are mostly tank/healer affixes. dps just get to blast.

I hope these get heavily changed. I like the idea of some passive auras or buffs each week but randomly picking a couple damage types to be buffed feels so bad. What if they just changed the 4 Auras to the 4 secondary stats? One week is Crit, then Mastery, then Haste, then Vers? Some classes will like some stats better but that way at least every single person gains some power each week.

I like that idea a lot of secondary stats. I think being a flat amount wouldn't be that awesome, but what if they were just like the buffs from Alge'thar, I love doing that dungeon because of that 5% buff to usually my haste or crit. I do think the vers week could be a problem though, since it's %damage reduction, at least at the high end, but maybe we don't care about the super high end keys. I know I personally don't LOL kinda leaves only crit and haste in that case because mastery is so wonky between the different classes, %s only being relative to each spec specifically.

Really really hoping enough feedback is provided for this to change because this seems terrible. They kept all the worst affixes and regardless of what they stated, this will create weekly "metas" and making getting into key groups even harder in the elitist state that keys are currently in. It's like they don't listen to feedback at all.

i think people need to test it before making actual judgment on whether its good or bad. its highly subjective when you're just reading it rather than engaged with what could or couldnt be a problem. because for example how many raid or dungeon mechanics have you read that have seemed highly complicated but in reality are stupidly simple. people are just complaining to complain as they did when df initially launched.

This is typical blizzard, some people are getting too emotional. They do these things to invoke passion and keep people talking about the game and keep them from being too bored so they spend more time and money. These are terrible. Gonna kill the pugging scene. Some specs are already favored and make more specs/classes favored even more is bad. Even if you can get gear/phials etc to make up for the damage buffs, that does not show in the finder. The design philosophy should be more inclusive instead of the opposite. Bring the player not the class is a better approach.

They might say the damage bonus is not essential to complete the dungeon but 99.99% of the average WoW population will read that as the exact opposite and only want classes that do that type of damage for that week.
