Everyone missed the fact about 4.1 patch. DK was getting nerfed to the gound combine with the fact that hunter deal really really low dmg.There was no PHD team over 2.2k rating in NA servers at that time. And MLS could just stomped PHD in like less than 1-2min that patch easily. OMG just 2good.

Toez messed up at the end. He decided to bubble a monkey blind when they weren't under pressure, with everyone sitting at full hp near the end, then got stun/silence locked like 30 sec later when Poopz was actually getting owned. :(

This might be the some of the best positioning and management by a Holy Paladin in the game's history. All of OMG played well, crazy stuff. Don't think PHDK was even that amazing at the time.

Their paladin was low on mana so they decided to stop toying with them and just lock them down with stuns and silences that are common with death knight/paladin combos. The other paladin had the mana, but just not the HPS to keep a clothie alive through a focused assault. The warlock was OOM and couldn't peel.

@its0ver9ooo Not literally dispellable, but it is disabled if the pet gets banished or cycloned. Point being, it's a very fragile ability and cannot be used to claim it's equal to the protection plate offers.

@its0ver9ooo To have Frost Armor active, a mage has to give up Mage Armor, which makes them more vulnerable to CCs, spell damage, and running OOM. Warlock Soul Link is dispellable and dependent on the pet being alive. Pets don't last too long in PVP typically.

Locks can heal for almost 7k per second under 25k health. Above that, still 3500+ health per second with demon armor. Locks can also life tap, so no, they can never go oom unless they can never receive a heal.

@its0ver9ooo On one team, Pally, Mage, Warlock. + High damage output - Low damage tolerance, very stressful on the healer. - All three use mana. When you're out, you're out. On the other, Pally, DK, Hunter. +Plate and leather can withstand the physical damage from the warlock pet, assuming it's not an imp, and the paladin if he gets aggressive. +DK somewhat self-sufficient with self healing and magic resist kit. Saves pally mana +DK and Hunter use Runic Power and Focus; they can never run OOM.

This warlock did run OOM. Probably didn't have time to waste a GCD on lifetapping while frantically trying to fend off all that offensive power. Not that it really mattered, him being a spellcaster and DKs being practically unkillable by casters.

In cataclysm? You really think a team with a mage and an hpal on it is a difficult setup to run? Such low skillcaps all around, no way. Like yeah warlock was a class that scaled really well with skill but I also think hunter and DK scaled well too, up to a point. I'm not really favoring either one, just saying that one of those comps wasn't particularly harder to play than the other. I wish a good WLS would have played the tournament that would've been good, that one from japan was horrible.

Hunter/DK team is of course going to beat the team with two casters. To even say that Skill Capped suck is completely stupid. SC, IMO was better than OMG. As stated earlier Hunter/DK team is going to silence and stun the living hell out of casters. Can't cast spells while getting Death Gripped.
