@darklobo79 I'm not saying there can't be some form of overtime added, but you can't change the rules for a tournament match DURING the match. If 20 minutes is the cutoff, then the participants of the tournament and the crowd need to be aware of that (simply by adding a countdown timer to the UI) and the match has to be stopped as soon as time has run out. If someone had stepped in and stopped this at 20 minutes and 1 second, then the audience wouldn't have been so dissatisfied with the outcome.

I agree. They removed the entire Mana game basically. Mana burn, Mana drain... Etc. That's what made the melee vs ranged balanced with burst dps from Melee. Now they have overbliat on the CD breaking talents. I enjoyed the Mana meta. There's many things that are improvements as well though such as damepening. Arenas weren't always so balanced. @darklobo79 The timer is fine. You can't have games going 30+ minutes long, even the Finals. The problem is how Blizzard handled this mess. If 20 minutes is the cutoff, then stop the game at 20 minutes and choose the winner. Don't allow it to go on -- getting the audience excited -- and then take the championship away from one team because someone fell asleep watching the clock.

Something makes me think that aaa thought the game was going to be called at 20:02, but they didn't and just let the lock die. So, instead of complaining about it they played it out until the end and then brought it up.
