Dhoruba is a gold mine of knowledge, please bring him on here as much as possible. I'm surprised he doesn't have his own KZbin channel.

@@BlackLiberationMedia I've been reading "Look for me in the Whirlwind" the collective autobiography of the Panther 21, and that has caused me to listen to Dhoruba more lately. I think he could get on bigger progressive channels with some effort. I asked Richard Medhurst to reach out to Dhoruba, he is a Syrian anti imperialist who lives in UK. He seemed interested. I will send some superchats to Jimmy Dore I think he would interview Dhoruba.

This was excellent! Douraba Bin-Washad is amazing. I have a comment or actually really a suggestion. On Luqman Nation they are now doing an Imprints Of Imperialism series, they’ve done two so far, which is really great because their guest gives a great breakdown of the impact of imperialism on the continent. Have you ever thought to do a monthly series with Douraba where he discusses US black history or an American politics breakdown coming from his perspective. Because the material he presents is so important and you’ve both spoken at length about the problem of this current generation not knowing their history. Well what better way to share that history, especially under a teacher that not only is knowledgeable, was actually there and lived through some of the more significant parts via the actual BLM, but more importantly is easy to understand and funny as hell lol! Not to mention - just as an observation - since there’s lots of talk on getting BPM’s numbers up, I’ve noticed that Douraba’s videos tend to get some of the best numbers and the most engagement, via the comments. I think that has a lot to do with just the tremendous hunger for that knowledge, in addition to Douraba’s irreverent style. So just a thought, I figured I’d share in case something like this wasn’t already in the works. Wonderful content - please keep up the great work!

Great interview. We need more of comrade Dhoruba. On the point of lack of ready access to younger generation and propaganda, the oppressor is never going feed us the information we need for the liberation and is only going to give us propaganda. We know that already. We need to consciously prepare ourselves. We have things like the internet which earlier revolutionaries like panthers or Malcom X or George Jackson didn't have. Information is there, we need to seek it, read it, organize study sessions to spread the knowledge.

Good discussion. I always appreciate Dhoruba Bin Wahad's knowledge and perspective on these issues. I was anticipating his thoughts on reparations but I was not convinced or agree with his reasoning. Also it was slander to say ADOS is function of white supremacy and front for white supremacy. That is completely false. ADOS is in support of each group in the diaspora's justice claim and supports that they get reparations from their respective oppressors. I believe they should support ours and we support theirs.

I completely disagree with your assessment on reperations for ADOS. A debt is a debt, especially for the multigenerational oppression for the people, that built this country! Also there are ways in which we can achieve a policy of reperations that won't require the redistribution of wealth. Other than that I love your platform.
@SkepticalMantisCHANNEL104 жыл бұрын
How can reparations happen without a redistribution of wealth? Reparations by definition is a redistribution of wealth.
@dennisrollins70234 жыл бұрын
@@SkepticalMantisCHANNEL10 Thank you for your question. So the important thing to realize is that a reparations program, doesn't have to be a zero sum. With the United States being a monetary sovereign(we print our own currency) we can authorize the payments through the FED. I think that the current coronavirus stimulus spending by the government, demonstrates how simple it would be to create the funds. We just need the political will to do it.
