I'm 31 now. I was I think 16 or 17 when this album was released. Idk I never got into ac/dc, led zeppelin or any big old bands that all the rockers at my school swore were the best bands ever. I remember thinking well they were great back then and it now 2005 I think the world is different and those older bands just dont do it for me. Now I'm here in 2020 listening to this because it just came into my life at the perfect time

whoa this sense of panic, nostalgia and nausea came over me as soon as I heard the first note. I feel sad and happy at the same time. Time is moving so fast - that's kinda giving me anxiety

A close friend of mine has had drinks with Kele. He said his lyrics mean a lot but are also like a poem….. you can take your own interpretation “We’re all scared of the future” That’s fucking haunting. Love it. For me this song is about the strangeness we have by being in the now and wanting to feel tomorrow. We make plans. Get bogged down, distract …… it’s about progress I’ve got a taste for blood 🩸
